  1. Corona FTW.
  2. I wrote up the install process for the boys, maybe ask Shane for a copy. I only used three of the supplied brackets and custom fabricated 5 others.
  3. The diffuser is a gorgeous bit of gear, have the same one on my car. Looking forward to see how this turns out
  4. Agreed. The GT35 will make the power you are after, however it is definetely not something i would call "super responsive that comes on boost soon". Problem is for 350rwkw your looking at a 700HP turbo which is something that flows around 1000cfm at over 1.3bar. On a 2.5/2.6L this means 4000rpm+ to start seeing a nice midrange. Look at compressor maps and peoples dyno graphs, dont look at peak power, but area under the curve and at what rpm different setups make diferent power, than judge for yourself how "responsive" you would call that. One thing i have learnt over the years from these forums is people judge response very differently. One's persons responsive turbo is another persons lag monster. Oh yeah forget about doing the single RB25 GTRS, would be more worthwhile keeping the factory twins.
  5. Cool, looking forward to seeing it. Same kit as the silver R33 one on their site?
  6. What widebody kit did you go? Got any pics?
  7. So it was an aftermarket bonnet or stock?
  8. Personally im looking at getting a PWR core, my own lines and fittings to my sizes i need and a sandwhich plate with thermostat setup. Should work out cheaper than most kits, allows me to have the correct length of lines that i want, dont need to remount my filter (f**k all room for it personally) and will be a decent core.
  9. Doesn't need to be in a container. Just get a sealed one which can vent out through a hose. I have a Century DIN53L in mine.
  10. You do know that the R8 has the same engine and drivetrain as the Gallardo, so really they aren't that different. Bit of an over statement saying it is a stretched TT. Personally i would choose the F430 from that list hands down.
  11. Honestly didnt think it would live up to the hype but how wrong i was. Best PS3 game out so far. In a sadistic sick way that airport level was so fun.
  12. Put a set of standard skyline shocks in the rear and ditch the ksports.
  13. Looks good man, ill be doing mine shortly aswell
  14. .......umm you know you shouldnt mix acid and pills right?
  15. Perfection is the only word that comes to my mind after reading this thread. Absolutely perfect.
  16. Lol your trying to build a drag car without a LSD?!?! What is in their at the moment? Standard GTST diff?
  17. Bushes that go in the rear subframe to alter the angle (they are called pineapples cause a few of them are yellow and look like pineapple cut pieces). This allows you to alter the angle of the rear subframe for maximum squat (traction) or the opposite (usually for drift).
  18. You can use a fine cut and polish which will work ok. If they are deep they wont come out unfortunately.
  19. The battery needing to vent is due to the toxic gases that can come from batteries. Since it is in an enclosed area those gases have to get out from the car somehow. You will notice underneath the car at the back and vent line, if you follow it to the boot its a clear plastic tube. Most sealed batteries can hook up onto this (my century does) and therefore they can vent outside the car. Honestly everything you got done for is unfortunately correct other than the headlight low beam canceling on high beams.
  20. Umm all R33's cancel the low beams when the high beams turn on from factory.
  21. I still love F430s, my favourite Ferrari and i would own one in a heartbeat if i had the cash. I'd obviously take a LP640 anyday over the F430. However i dont think its fair to compare the two, LP640 being around $700,000AUD and a F430 being around $450,000AUD..... You could have a second hand F430 and a fairly nice house for the cost of the lambo
  22. Straight 3" with a Varex universal muffler in the centre. Quite or loud when i choose
  23. What kind of intercooler have you got? Is it a shit one that is blocking all airflow to the radiator?
  24. Get the pre gapped ones. A gapped plug with a feeler gauge is never as good as a pre gapped one. I always ran BKR6E's, 20psi and never a problem. Now switching over to BKR7E's due to a power increase for the next tune.
  25. Dude, no.
