  1. Lol i thought you ment your engine went bang after putting a full tank in it.
  2. Looks good man. That's definetely an interesting paint job for a GTR.
  3. Hey guys, Just wondering, how heat resistant is carbon fibre? Obviously the actual fibre itself is very heat resistant but what about the clear resin coating? Say a rear diffuser is touching on an exhaust is that ok, or will it melt into the coating? I'd rather not have to cut it for the sake of half an inch, but if it is going to melt the shit out of it ill cut it Also with regards to cutting it, will it fray the ends? I've drilled into carbon before and it was perfectly fine, but never actually cut the stuff. Any tips? Thanks
  4. It uses the ABS sensors on each wheel to tell it when to lock (along with a bunch of other things).
  5. lol out of curiousity what kind of car is it?
  6. The Just Jap ones or Unique Autosports ones are nice and fairly cheap. Can get them in carbon, fibreglass or stainless steel. That is just an airbox though, if you wanted an "induction" of some sort, maybe route some pipes to it or something. However the airbox on its own should be fine.
  7. Ummm......what the hell does that have to do with an A-LSD?
  8. Nope they all do.
  9. If it's the same as a R33 it's the plug for the cat temp sensor. The drivers side has the plug for the seatbelt.
  10. Best way to protect from some one stealing the car is installing a $5 switch off of the fuel pump. Lengthen the wires and hide it some where that isn't too obvious. Car won't go no where with out them finding that switch. Doesn't protect from some one putting it on a truck or something though.
  11. Mate that is an awesome move! Good luck with it all and keep us updated, would love to see what the Eastern European modifying scene is like. Im Czechoslovakian and havn't been back in about 10 years but would love to go back and visit as many countries as i can to see what it is all like nowadays. Good luck again
  12. Sorry, when i ment it worked originally i ment maybe some time when it was made, it never worked good for me. But fair enough, i'll agree with what has been said. However in my situation the cheap cable didn't work well and frustrated the hell out of me with having such expensive TV's not looking perfect. Got a good one, problem was fixed Maybe it was interference with another part of the home theatre and the better cable shielded from it better. Who knows. If they work fine for you guys well there you go.
  13. Saying something like that on a car forum where people modify their cars to go fast and look good, including you, is a bit irrelevent isn't it? I don't see you driving a Prius do I. It could possibly have been. It could have also just been some shit cable, who knows. However this is my point, the cable might have been fine originally, but cheap shit usually breaks or stops working hence why i bought something that is good quality so i know it works fine. If my mate was here im sure he could throw some technical shit back at you regarding cabling since he lives the stuff however is that going to change your mind, probably not. This is the same reason you personally don't recommend cheap chinese ebay turbo's to people, sure they might work just as well as others, but none the less, they are cheap for a reason. Lol i aint hurt, i aint cheap to be cut over $100 on a cable for TV's that cost a few thousand dollars each for a home cinema worth even more. If i was worried about spending coin i wouldn't be driving a skyline. Dude let's just let it go, this is going no where.
  14. I could buy five different Ford's for the price of a Ferrari, what's your point?
  15. Fact: I had some cheap no brand shit HDMI cable and while playing blurays on high motion scenes it looked out of focus, blurry if you may. Did this on both TV's. Fact: Replaced the cheap cable with a Monster one and what do you know, it wasn't blurry any more and stayed in focus. Take from it what you want, maybe the cables we had were bad, still doesnt change the fact that the monster one was better. There are 100's of different shit cables on the market, all im saying is pay a little bit more and you know its a good cable for a TV that cost 100 times more than the cable in the first place. God you love arguing over the simplest shit Ash, its a $100 cable compared to a $20-$30 cable....Ohhh look out, going to have to get a bank loan for that one.
  16. Put the same TV (a good quality 50"+ 1080P) side by side with a cheap cable and a decent HDMI cable and you will see a difference. Speaking from experience here, not "marketing bullshit". My parents have a 52" XBR and i have a 52" Sharp, both improved in picture quality from getting a better cable than what we had which was a cheap shit $10 cable. Not saying you need to spend top dollar, but not all those cheap cables are good. Start reading if you wish http://www.monstercable.com/HDMI/the_facts_on_hdmi.asp
  17. Yep i'm cool with that. Send me your details and ill transfer the money.
  18. Monster HDMI cable for the win. Those cheap HDMI cables are shit, motion scenes never look as sharp due to the low speed transfer rate. When you spend big money on a 1080P hi-def TV i don't understand why people let it down with a cheap cable.
  19. Man i don't know where the hell he got that thing from, i've looked everywhere and kind find it. Only thing i can think of is it has been custom made, but it looks to perfectly molded to be custom made. Hmmm very interesting indeed. Must be a very old rare part or something.
  20. Bit off topic, but what was the best time you ended up getting out of it down the strip?
  21. If you end up finding where to get it from let me know. I'll try searching for it aswell.
