  1. I'm not sure honestly. However when pushed really hard on a down hill corner at a decent speed it will start to understeer mid corner. When driving at normal speeds into corners it is absolutely fine, only when pushed very hard. This could be due to wheel allignment, the car being to low, my driving method or the front swaybar being too big. So i'll play around with it a bit more, i just kind of wish i got the adjustable ones now. I just want it to handle as good as that 370 My rear is the 22mm fixed. These were the part numbers that Sydneykid wrote in the group buy.
  2. I don't see a problem with the guy wanting to run it to be a bit more safer. I've been thinking of doing the same thing when I track the car next year. The intake temp differences around the year we get up here are quite broad. During a summer day on a track i know i would want every precaution method taken.
  3. Didn't some mag do a test on all the octane boosters and the Nulon Pro Strength was the only one that made a decent difference? While working at Autobarn the Pro Strength was definetely the best seller.
  4. I drove a 370Z last night, the thing handles like it is glued to the road!! My god!! Best handing car i have ever driven. I think im going to change my front 27mm one to a 24mm adjustable to fine tune it a bit more.
  5. Do they make a 24mm rear? I didnt see it on their list.

  7. Rear is a piece of piss, front was slightly more difficult. Just dont round a nut like i did and spend 2 hours trying to get it off with lots of swearing
  8. It might have just been the sharp corner i took or something on the wheel allignment might be out since i fitted the HICAS bar. I'll get the toe on the car checked while getting an allignment and ill have a proper play tonight
  9. Well in the Stagea suspension thread Sydneykid took pics of the boxes and they definetely said BNF24X so i'd assume he ment the 27mm ones and maybe just got mistaken calling them 24mm because there was a 24 in the part number. Maybe he can comment. Is there such a thing as having too thick of a swaybar?
  10. Ok i quickly went for a drive, very impressed however now i dont really know the limit of the car. Will have to take it up the mountain tomorrow to get used to the new setup. While driving straight there are no downsides, if anything the car feels more solid and together. When going into a turn the car is just flat, incredibly flat. There is no sign of roll and its a bit weird to describe, you can't feel when the car is going to let go it just holds and you plant your foot and it just keeps holding until finally it starts to understeer (Bloody front heavy skylines!). Ill play around with the dampening tomorow night and take it for a good spin. Might get a wheel allignment aswell to make sure everything is in order since these and the HICAS lock bar install. So far very happy
  11. Good luck with the sale buddy, very good price. Yes they will fit a GTT but you may need to lip/roll the guards slightly. I'd love to get 19s on the rear one day. If you end up seperating them let me know...
  12. I am! Heading down to Brisbane and the Gold Coast with a mate this Thursday for the rest of the week, can't wait
  13. I just chucked some onto the car on the weekend. BNF24X Front and BNR11X on the rear. So should be a 27mm front and 22mm rear. (these are the ones Sydneykid recomendded from his group buy). I'll let you know how they go, havnt driven the car yet.
  14. Got my intake manifold chrome plated by Dahtone Racing, no downsides yet. Fairly easy to keep clean and if it is properly coated it shouldnt flake or discolour.
  15. Nothing wrong with a bit of gas. Good cheap power without having to upgrade to bigger turbos, which in turn increase lag. For a street car that wants to have a bit of fun on the side nitrous is a great way to go. I still want to hopefully get there one day.
  16. Cut it, it will be fine. One of the first mods i did to mine back in the day.
  17. Maybe your VCT wasn't working because there is a difference. Considering i can control my VCT with the microtech and turn it on or off, yep, there is a difference. Good mate of mine took the VCT off of his S15 because they tend to fail on the SR20 and he regrets it, very noticable power loss down low. I'd be curious to see how a stock turbo RB26 would go with VCT on it considering i find them quite crap down low for what they are, however that's probably just lag from the twin setup (maybe this aint as bad on a R34, only been in R32 and R33 GTR's).
  18. You guys ever driven a car that had VCT and then got rid of it? SR's and RB's with VCT removed are shit down low. Hell, RB26's are shit down low. Not that many people care about such things on big power cars, but for a daily driver it does makes a difference.
  19. I'm very impressed, good work man.
  20. Hahahaha yeah i always see that poster in KMART and die a little inside.
  21. GTR Version: R34 GTST/GTT Version: Series II R33
  22. I think i prefer the looks (exterior) of the Camaro more so than the GTR. Going out on a limb here saying i would probably even prefer a black supercharged V8 Camaro over the new GTR
  23. I still stand by my original post on page 1.
  24. A dickhead is still a dickhead no matter what he drives...
