  1. My god guys, i didn't mean for this to become a discussion about whether or not a person needs ABS lol. The ABS error light will come on when disengaged and the missile switch cover i have will be open, so it will be a bit hard to forget to switch it back on. I'm not worried bout that at all.
  2. Thanks for that man, thought it would be something simple
  3. I had a read, didin't really answer anything for me lol. I want to be able to turn it off when I don't want to have it engaging. Reason being, if i over power the ABS and have it get an error, the light sometimes stays on for a day or two before it magically turns itself back off and has ABS working again. On the street i want the ABS to work, however during other off street activities i don't want to be over powering it trying to get it to turn it self off and get an error. Whenever i throw the car into circle work or try to light up the tyres (even if i don't hit the brakes) it can still get an erorr and then i don't have ABS until it decides to reset itself. Hope that kind of makes sense. I'd just rather have control over it. Thought it might be a simple thing to do, but i can't find out how.
  4. Can you see my signature? It has all the mods in there. 263rwkw was the last tune.
  5. Yeah pics, sounds like it might look good.
  6. Cool, just wasn't sure whether the R34 throttle was different or something. Also, you said you went the 72mm over the 66mm one. Any reason? I'm not sure what size to go if I upgrade mine.
  7. Install it all yourself, just get some one to push the old bushes out. It isn't that hard if you have the right tools and you can't really brake anything.
  8. Has any one on here hooked up a switch to turn the ABS on/off in a skyline? I know it can be done as i've seen a few skylines in mags/clips with in-dash kill switches for the ABS, just not sure what wiring they are tapping into to do it. Is there an ABS relay or something that you can cut the power from? Cheers guys.
  9. If i was in your position and had a built engine, i wouldn't think twice and just go the nitrous. Which water-meth kit did you go? I'm still looking into it myself. Trying to make the kit look nice and neet under the bonnet is the hardest thing, the pumps are so huge! My mate wants to put one on his 30/25 once it's on the road, so i'll see how that goes. Those nitrous kits can be hidden very well with a couple of tricks and a cop wouldn't look twice if you hide it right.
  10. I'm also keen on the throttle body. I have a plazmaman plenum allready, so the throttle should bolt straight on correct?
  11. Hmmm the kit i was looking was the NOS05130 kit, you can see it on this site http://www.bottleorboost.com.au/FORMgallery.htm Then a purge system, bottle warmer and a electronic bottle opener if you wanted aswell. I suppose with installation (I was going to do it myself) and dyno tuning it would come to the price you said.
  12. Go the nitrous or do both. I still want to do the nitrous but im worried the motor won't last long and i can't afford a rebuild until i finish uni. I have the nitrous bottle in my garage lol. You said the price is only $200 difference, how so? The NOS wet kit i want is only $700-$900 for the kit depending where you buy from. What kit you looking at?
  13. What model XR did you get, BA/BF/FG?
  14. My god im speechless. I thought the first one was great, that one just blew it away. The slow-motion camera work was fantastic.
  15. Shit that's a pretty good price. Cheapest i've seen so far. EDIT: Just noticed that is without GST, so $589 actually.
  16. Pedro im pretty sure RB20/RB25/RB25 Neo all use the same exhaust manifold gasket. Considering aftermarket exhaust manifolds fit all those models.
  17. Will be sad to see you without a Skyline, but like you said, there are some things that are more important than a car at this point in life..... So when you extending your loan for the R34 GTR?
  18. Any updates on this? I really want one for mine. Am willing to muck around trimming one to make it fit.
  19. Personally i would love a small subtle one for looks, but aint paying anywhere near $2000 for one.
  20. Lol reading all the comments is pretty funny. Very old video though.
  21. Got my exhaust studs through Nissan, were a lot cheaper than i thought. Just call one up, most keep them in stock.
  22. With a 3" catback, dump pipe, high flow cat, filter and 10psi mine used to make 170kw to give you a rough idea. So with a boost controller, FMIC and a EBC (providing you do the dump pipe aswell), you should get anywhere from 190-210kw.
  23. Mate with HKS cams in a S15 used to have a Blitz exhaust like mine on it and it was probably the nicest sounding SR I ever heard. Then he got done by cops and changed it for a Trust PEII, never sounded the same
