  1. Good choice, she'll run fine.
  2. Not your imagination man, definetely a difference between most oils and the 300V, its something you can actually feel. Great shit, hence why i praise it so much.
  3. Turbolight is a 10W40 and i used to run it up here in Townsville without any dramas.
  4. Ok this I dont understand and shits me to tears when customers argue with me saying "she'll be right". Why do people people like you not realise how dangerous it is! There is a reason it is illegal. (unless it is on your bonnet, in that case sorry bout this). You do realise you have high pressure oil running inside your cabin, right next to your face at around 50-100psi. Meaning if you get into a slight accident, enough to cause that line to break off, you will have oil at 50-100psi hitting you.... Guess who won't be looking "pro" then...
  5. If he is running iridiums, then it is a 1.1mm plug, as the NGK books for skylines all list iridium/platinum plugs at 1.1mm. Hence why at my work i have crossed this crap out and put down BCPR7E since i get this problem with customers on a weekly basis. Get BCPR7E plugs and your missfire will go away. Done and done.
  6. BCPR7E every 5000km and you will never have miss fire problems.
  7. Electrical for anything to do with oil. Defi are probably better quality but dearer. Both however will do the job fine and are about the same to install. Or you could find some nice Jap gauges (Blitz, Greddy, HKS etc), but with the dollar the way it is they are dear as hell. Having said that, i have the Blitz white faced gauges in mine and love them to death, however they don't make them anymore
  8. Looks nice but fairly low power on 10psi. Squeeze more boost into it and see what she does.
  9. I find them a lot easier when compared to other imports such as silvia's/180's.
  10. Part numbers are different, other than that they look the same. Here's what the Nismo one looks like for the R32 GTR http://www.sotechsystems.com/store/images/...mo_fuelpump.jpg But yes, your's appears to be a stock pump.
  11. Autobarn - Autometer/Defi
  12. The link i posted is the sticky. Yeah go a 10W40, its a good all-round viscosity. Well atleast for where i am being a hot climate, i dont like going too much thinner.
  13. Bullshit, whoever told you that is an idiot. The exhaust is the most restrictive part on these cars, doing a dump pipe upgrade (and a cat upgrade) is probably one of the best bang for buck mods that you can do. My car was stock with just a cat-back when i bought it, the dump pipe/cat was one of the first mods we did and it really woke the car up making it feel better throughout the rev range. 10psi will be fine, just make sure your plugs/coilpacks are up to scratch so you don't have missfire problems.
  14. Start reading boys. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Go...ils-t22458.html http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sp...ge-t177341.html As for the magnatec with pushing 250rwkw.......*Yikes* You want the best, you buy 300V, Royal Purple or Redline stuff, simple as that.
  15. They sure are taking their sweet f***ing time releasing it
  16. Turbo model being converted to NA, or had an engine swap. Post your VIN number and post a pic of your engine bay.
  17. Honestly i can't remember exactly (god it's been that long....). From memory in 3rd or 4th it was making around 16-17psi around the 4000rpm mark i think. I'll tell you in a couple of weeks *fingers crossed*
  18. The oil you had in it was probably thicker than the 8100 you put in (and probably old). It will be fine. Climate and viscosity's of oils will affect oil pressures, don't worry about what the manual says.
  19. Lol what a coincidence, my mates S15 has the same thing aswell. Does look nice.
  20. I think he means he has 4000rpm worth of full boost. So if he has his limiter at 7100rpm, he gets full boost around 3100rpm.
  21. Haha fair enough then. If that's the case, amazing what a difference in temperature it is making.
  22. Yeah RB25 neo and cam gears on stock cams is a waste. Kind of like Chris Brown getting woman bashing lessons.... *yeah i went there*
  23. Wow thats really low
  24. The Pro S and GT-RS cost a fortune at the moment. Go the Pro S if you can afford it.
