  1. Use it as an additive on the street, running it pure with just water would only be recommended for track use.
  2. F**k yeah, looks good. So can't wait for the movie.
  3. You are confusing yourself with two different turbos, the HKS 3037 and HKS GT-RS are different turbos.
  4. Or you could do what all of us are saying and buy a form of engine management that can be setup for the upgraded turbo. That size turbo will NOT run properly on a stock ECU with a SAFC, it is not designed for it. The SAFC is to trick the ECU slightly when you go a bit beyond the capabilities of the stock ECU. You are going WAY over its limits.
  5. Yeah mines about the same Pedro, microtech hand controller displays about 85-90. I've seen it over 90 a couple of times when giving it a bit during the day. Gotta love our heat lol.
  6. Decent aftermarket turbo = Decent aftermarket ecu Don't waste your time trying to get the SAFC to run it, it's not going to run nice, i learnt that the hard way trying to get my car running on a SAFC before the microtech. IMO SAFC's are good for the stock turbo, or a slight upgrade such as a highflow. On a 3071R your kidding yourself thinking the SAFC will run it fine.
  7. Yep pretty sure the longer ones are on the exhaust side. 1.26" on intake and 1.41" on the exhaust. Atleast thats what my aftermarket ones were.
  8. Give Horsepowerinabox or GCG a call.
  9. Means they will adjust the tune on the car in the morning when it is completely cold to make sure it starts and idle's properly. Price seems allright, however you really should have done that dump pipe before the tune as its going to be restricting it something fierce. My expectations are 175-180rwkw.
  10. No one is going to answer your question because it's an aftermarket switch and could literally have 100 uses, or not be hooked up at all. Get your head underneath the dash and see if there is wires leading to the switch, if so, what from? This will narrow it down. Or take it to an auto electrician and tell them to find out.
  11. Looks good mate, love the colour co-ordination of the light blue.
  12. Exactly as said above. Most aftermarket split dump pipes are great for the stock turbo (if they dont foul the wastegate flap). However if you are going to upgrade the turbo down the track go a bellmouth. I used to have a split dump on the stock turbo and it was great, however the GT-RS wouldnt hold boost with it as the wastegate pipe was to small.
  13. 27mm off memory.
  14. I do mine every 5000, however i don't see a problem doing it every 7500 (I dont put that many km's on the car, so 5000km lasts me a while). I'd say 10000 would be pushing it though.
  15. Hmmm interesting, never heard of them before. Im sure some one will shed some light on them.
  16. Yet you took the time to post that......
  17. Auto or manual? If manual i'd expect around 185.
  18. No, Vipec is a brand, just like Apexi Power FC, Microtech, Haltech etc.
  19. +1 for interest Dave.
  20. Got an Exedy cushioned button in mine, drives great, is fairly cheap (compared to Twin plates) and holds the power no worries. Highly recommend them, just got one for my mates XR6 Turbo and 180sx. What kind of budget you on? If money aint a problem, go a single plate carbon, great clutches.
  21. Is it because it is mounted after the throttle body, however not in every runner like a direct port setup would be?
  22. *Grabs popcorn* Shit is about to hit the fan in here.....
  23. Yeah i didn't think you could either, hence why i never looked into it until the other week. But yeah on the Aux input function you can set RPM, fuel and timing.
  24. Do you just use a clutch switch, or some sort of missile switch? What you using to control it and how is it setup? Im guessing you don't run a cat?
