  1. Hmmm might talk to my tuner once the car is back on the road and see if he says i can get rid of it. Less hoses/wires the better
  2. A 2835 is a bee's dick bigger then the GT-RS, in essence the same turbo. Both use a 56 trim/71.1 compressor wheel however the 2835 is a .68 A/R where as the GT-RS is a .63 off of memory. However the 2835 kit is around $1000 more then the GT-RS kit. So it comes down to this, if you can afford the 2835 kit then go it, if you can't, go the GT-RS kit, simple as that. Both a great option on the RB25 and will not dissapoint.
  3. Mmmmm that roll cage is very nice!
  4. +1 for sikaflex
  5. Personally, too me a car that is just ridiculously loud pushing 120db doesn't do it for me. (referencing to some people talking about no cats/mufflers/straight pipes etc). I prefer a car that has a nice deep tough note. I've heard plenty of RB's, SR's, V8's etc that sound like a banshee screaming its head off, but sound absolutely horrible. Ever heard a SR with no exhaust........no thanks. Just my choice though.
  6. I'm a bit curious about this aswell. On a MAP based ECU, do you need the AAC? Mine uses one at the moment, but i wouldn't mind getting rid of it to neaten up the engine bay if i could....
  7. Means something like a 6boost manifold.
  8. God don't tell me that story!!! Mine is pretty much getting the same as yours, hope i don't have the same problem How long did it take them to do your head? Was hoping to have mine back soon, but still no word.
  9. I didn't mean the GT-SS is the same as a 2535, i meant if you wanted something smaller for earlier spool (which is why im guessing he said the GT-SS), than the 2535 is probably the smallest you would want to go. A 2510 on a RB25 is just a waste of money for an upgrade, like you have said.
  10. Honestly the ending(s) pissed me off, such a big build up for a short black and white video clip was lame. Then the fact you can't continue playing it once you've finished is annoying! Overall however was a great game.
  11. The GT-SS is made for a RB26 setup, therefore different flange as wolverine has said. So out of the two obviously the GT-RS is the pick. If you wanted something smaller (similar to the GT-SS) then go a 2535 since you can get them with a T3 flange.
  12. True that
  13. You could combine the two.... Maybe that's why some people carry a dyno sheet in the glove box, all makes sense now!!
  14. Mine did this about a year ago one night about 3 times and i freaked out, starting checking everything and couldn't find anything wrong. Hasn't done it since. I wouldn't worry about it man, it'll just be the gauge acting up a bit.
  15. Sacrificing a couple of hp you won't even notice to have a turbo that sounds like a jet engine turbine under spool, i think i can live with that
  16. Nice spelling chief
  17. Garnish - cool Indicators/reverse lights - cool Terminator eye lights - gay
  18. Pretty sure they are to allow warm coolant to go through the throttle body and stop it from freezing shut in minus temperatures.
  19. Hmmm sounds like two seperate problems, a missfire problem and a knocking problem. For the knocking its going to be in the tune. As for the missfire, if you have changed plugs (BCPR6E's?) and it still does it, then most likely it is the coilpacks or the loom. As for the broken engine earth, there is still a main engine earth on the block underneath the plenum, however i would still add a couple more earths off of the head. I picked up a Pivot engine earth/voltage stabilizer kit for $50 brand new to test it out (retails for $300 on nengun at the moment, f**k that!) and straight away noticed the car was easier to start and the voltage didn't drop down as low on start up anymore. So extra earthing of the engine definetely helps a tiny bit. Add another earth near the coilpacks to the body of the car just in case, it can't hurt.
  20. Well, well, well........ Looks like our friend "Redstar" or should i say Chris from Adelaide used to go by the name REdgtst and got banned by moderators. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/REdgtst-m22762.html What did he get banned for you ask? Posting random shit on SAU. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ph...&hl=REdgtst Hmmm learnt your lesson have you Chris? Now please, get the f**k off of SAU I used to live in adelaide and know a few nice lads down there, funny how small this world is , you can find anything on the internet, including your mobile number Since you like photos so much, here's one for ya.
  21. What's the knock count on the Power FC read when the engine light comes on? It's most likely just pinging its head off, safest bet take it to a workshop to check the timing and AFR's over 4000rpm, most likely leaning out a bit up top. Didn't run some crap fuel in it recently?
  22. I have the surge slots on my GTRS so i know where your coming from about them sounding good on full spool. Best one i've heard is a T04Z on a 2J. If GCG is still open, give them a call tomorrow morning and ask them, surely they would know. I've however never seen a surge cover for a .70 housing GT35R so not sure if you can get your hands on one.
  23. Played it the other day, wasn' that impressed. Exactly the same as NFS Most Wanted with a bit of an upgrade on little things here and there. I think they should just stop making them for a while until they make a decent "new" game that is miles ahead of the old ones. Kind of like GT5 is to GT4, huge difference. However the Veyron is cool
  24. Mine are Vertex ones, were about $750. So not cheap, but then again neither were my carbon mirrors......*god damn expensive carbon!*
  25. Out of curiousity, how did you get the fitment so perfect?
