  1. Redline lightweight shockproof oil (not the super lightweight) if you can find someone that sells it, its pretty expensive though.
  2. I see you have marty's wheels on now, they actually look a lot better on your car!
  3. Lol i called it a stealth wing, only reason i typed "/drift wing" is cause that's what it is called on psi parts website So blame them not me haha Thanks for the pics!! Looks really good! I think you have me sold.
  4. Front bar: A lot of cutting in the middle section to make adequate clearance for the core and some cutting of the area underneath the foglights/indicators to make clearance for the pipework. Front bumper support assembly: You'll need to cut a small metal section of each side, once again to fit the core. Hole in engine bay: On the left hand side of the engine bay a circular hole will need to be cut underneath the windscreen washer bottle to allow the pipework to go through the engine bay. Other little things like maybe needing to trim back the clutch fan blades slightly might be required (not sure about the Plazmaman one) They're the main things i can think of. The plazmaman coolers have the pipework coming out the centre of the core, instead of the bottom like traditional intercoolers so not sure how you will go with the foglights/indicators, but you should be able to keep them. Hope that helps slightly.
  5. Do what im doing at the moment, take your gaurds off and hide all the wiring inside of them PS: It aint that fun lol
  6. Haha i saw that it was your thread that i found Thanks man
  7. What kind of price range are we talking here? For something "relatively" cheap, xr6 turbos or anything with a LS2 in it can get quite a decent amount of power output with some small mods. Depends what your after though.
  8. Hey, Im thinking about getting a carbon stealth wing/drift wing to make the car look a bit different from the back and add to the growing carbon stuff on my car, i can't seem to find any installed pics anywhere! This was the only thread about them and the dude never posted the pics! http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ca...on+stealth+wing PSI parts sell them and he said a couple of members have bought them, so would some one mind posting up a pic for me please! This is the wing on psi parts website: http://www.psiparts.com.au/front.asp?pid=28 So yeah, pics of the carbon one would be greatly appreciated. Obviously its gonna look the same just in carbon, but i'd still rather see a pic of the real deal then just using my imagination lol. Cheers.
  9. You can pick garrett turbo's up pretty cheap second hand these days, just try to find one. Don't f**k around with cheap crap that you going to one day regret buying.
  10. Is the pod filter just sitting in the engine bay? If you get a decent sealed box around it, it quitens it down a little bit, might be just enough to make you happy and wont be much mucking around.
  11. Take the dump pipe off and check whether you have an exhaust wheel inside of it.
  12. Specs on the car will help, was it a stock turbo? What colour is the smoke?
  13. ummmm so you had all your oil in the car (4.5-5L) and then added 2L of Turbolight into it.........?
  14. From a "fast car" point of view, like a couple have said before, if you could get the AWD to work with a built LS1/LS2 and then twin turboed the engine, damn what a weapon that would be!! Lighter engine, better weight distribution, and being able to make 400-500rwkw with bugger all lag. I doubt many RB26's could keep up with it, regardless of how much power they had. But yeah, i still personally wouldn't do it......................... But i think some one should
  15. 10,000rpm........ *drools*
  16. As said many times before, LS1's are 50kg lighter then a RB. They are also a shorter engine, therefore they sit back in the engine bay, meaning better weight distribution. (in a skyline i mean)
  17. Until a rocker arm breaks off Just stirring.
  18. Some experts on oil in this thread i see.... There is nothing wrong with turbolight, and as for being a semi-synthetic, most oils are actually semi-synthetic, even if it says "Synthetic" on the oil, it doesn't mean it is 100% synethetic. But thats another topic. Back to the original problem. What your describing has nothing to do with the properties/brand of the oil, its a 10W40 for the record. What else was done to the car at the same time as the oil? Spark plugs changed?
  19. Was a good thread to read though
  20. Did you go solid lifters in the 25 head for that much lift?
  21. As a rough guide, the larger the duration on the cams, the higher in the rev range it moves the powerband/peak torque.
  22. or BKR6E, same plug in essence.
  23. Yeah i remember that one. I would have thought the record for GTR unopened would be somewhere in the high 10s.
  24. Fair enough it might look the same, but how do you insert a diesel nozzle into an unleaded fuel tank hole, they make them different with a restrictor for this exact reason! So the diesel ultimate has the same nozzle as unleaded petrol over in WA?
  25. If its a female that wants one ok fair enough i can kind of understand that. But if its a male, what makes him want a Tiburon? Honestly i just don't understand why people actually go "Yes i want one of these cars". For the money there are much more sporty/faster/better built cars out there. So whats the appeal of the Tiburon?
