Did Pete at TMS try wiring up the gate shut to see whether it was the BOV and not the gate leaking open?

If its just moisture, pull a globe out and stick a hair dryer into the hole for a little while, the moisture will evaporate.

The 1.06 housing is going to be far to large for the stuart hillclimbs and the bitumen sprints. Definetely go the .82 on the GT35 if your serious about these events and are set on only one of those options, even that im thinking might not be as resposive as you would want. Richard has the garrett TO4z on his supra in a .82 im pretty sure (not sure if you knew rich) and it was the same response as having the orginal twins setup as a true twin system, not the sequential setup. It wasn't too laggy however that's obviously on a 3L.

To my understanding, as long as an idicator is visible when standing directly at 90 degrees from the vehicle (side on) it's fine. This sound right?

Keep the stock one, if there is nothing wrong with it, don't change it.

I think the getrag 6 speed in the R34 can do 300 on factory gearing, could be wrong though. The 5 speed can't though.

Just wondering whether any one is familiar with the law in QLD regarding side indicators? Do they have to be visible from a certain angle? Placed in a certain location etc... I can't really find anything about it. Just thinking of doing a bit of modifying with the side indicators and wondering where i stand regarding the law. Cheers.

I dont get ya, how do they sit in the wrong position? The cam gear can only go on in one postion onto the cam, then you simply line up the dot on the cam gear to the white line on the rear cover. You got a pic?

Incorrect, a turbocharger is more efficient because it is using something from the engine to make power which is not being used for anything else ie. exhaust gases.

If they are NGK coppers and have no number on the end of the part number (ie BKR6E etc) then they are allready pregapped to .8 just leave them at that.

The V series IMO will never be as commonly seen as the R3x series due to a number of reasons that you have to look at. The main one being is why do people buy a R3x series skyline: 1. The fact it is a cheap turbo car that has plenty of potential with basic mods that aren't that expensive, the V series skyline isnt exactly cheap to modify as its not turbo'd from factory, therefore to keep it NA and make big power is extremely expensive. The obvious option is to supercharge or turbo it, one thing that will never exactly be cheap. 2. Typical young kid that wants a car that goes "Pshhhhh", lets face it, there is a crowd of people that know nothing about these cars but think they are awesome because they have a BOV. The V series (unless turboed) doesn't exactly draw this crowd. 3. History behind these cars and the iconic status they had in the 90's. Once again the V series doesn't have this. 4. Drifting/drag racing/circuit racing. Even though the V series can be made to be as quick or quicker than a R3x series, they just don't carry the characteristics of the older series to be able to chuck around in these avenues even in a basically stock form. Don't get me wrong the V series skylines are nice and will become popular as prices come down. However they don't draw the same crowds of people to buy them as the R3x series does, therefore i doubt you will ever see a V series in every second persons garage as you do with the R3x series.

Great exhaust, got one on mine. Perfect fit and very nice deep sound. It is loud however.
