Hey, what kind of prices have you found for the following:
Intake & Exhaust valve seals
Intake & Exhaust valve seats - Chromium
Intake & Exhaust valve guides - Bronzanium
Just rough prices would be a great help!
Thanks man
A t28 off of an S15 you mean? No it wont, T2 flange, not a T3 and the dump pipe is a 5 bolt not a 6. But yeah it is a better turbo than the T25 stock turbo.
Not sure if you will have to do this but i did and it was a pain in the f***ing ass! My wheel studs weren't long enough to fit the GTC's, you could only do one turn of the wheel nuts. So had to knock them all out and put in longer ones and them grind them down a little bit so they weren't too long.....Look into that to see if you have to change to longer wheel studs.
Can't remember my offsets, but they are 18x8 and 18x9 and fit fine. with no guard rolling etc.
I got a plazmaman one and no comlaints here, but yeah the factory runners look like dick. Thinking if i take the head off to clean out the casting marks on the inside of them and then getting the outside chrome dipped to match the plenum
Hmm interesting. When you say it wont rev past 1000rpm, as in it wont even rev past it in neutral or only when your in 1st gear trying to drive? Also when you try to rev past 1000rpm does it sound like a rev limiter bouncing off of 1000rpm or something else?
The only thing i can think of is the temperature of the coolant being that low that it is going into some sort of factory safety on the stock ecu and wont allow the car to go until it warms up a bit.....probably not that but just thinking out loud.
Check your water temp sensor. Does your dash water temp work fine?
You havn't accidentaly changed one of the sensor settings on the SAFC? I can't remember what they are on the SAFC but i remember there being a few settings regarding the inital setup.
Yeah i do. Hope i can explain this well.
Behind the power steering resevoir, on the strut tower down near the turbo intake, there should be a little gold piece of metal, the black connector just slides over that.
Well since i have these wheels i can clear up the Face 1/2 thing. Its the spokes on the wheels, Face 1 have flat spokes that are pretty much vertical with the wheel, and Face 2 have a bit of a curve to the spokes so it kind of flares out (or is it the other way around...lol). Hope that makes sense....
