Actually now that I think about it maybe it was custom made...hmm. Basically was just a thick bit of aluminium the same shape as the AAC hole on the Plamaman plenum to push the AAC out about an inch so it wouldn't foul on a top feed fuel rail.

I thought most people get tired after lunch due to blood going to your stomach area for digestion (remember hearing that somewhere not sure if accurate). Personally I always feel like a nap after lunch lol. I'm keen on your experiment Terry

Is it hitting on the plenum itself or on the AAC? Because if it is on the AAC you can get a spacer plate for it.

UPDATE YAY! Good news guys. Got half of the tracking numbers just then and will receive the other half tomorrow. I'll PM everyone their numbers and chuck up the list.

Just so you are aware (and i'm sure you are) but it is not a real HKS fuel rail.

Yeah with the prices of R32 GTRs these days you would be insane to try and make a GTST into a GTR.

I've emailed them three or four times in the last week and still no reply. It's still early Monday there now so might get a reply tonight after the weekend. Really hope so as I'm not happy with the cut off in communication!

ABS is a factory option on R33's.

Should still be able to start the car with throttle open though. Everything really is pointing to a broken CAS spindle. As the starter motor spins the engine manually during start the ECU receives no signal from the CAS so won't fire any injectors or spark plugs to initiate combustion since it doesn't know the engine is turning over.

Fairly sure a Skyline will start start even without an AFM signal, just goes into limp mode, so I don't think it would be that.

I'd go black LMGT4s with the carbon lips all round (front bar, side skirts and pods).

Yep ubolt the three screws, unclip the wiring and then just pull it out. Mark where the bolts were roughly aligned first to be able to put it back in the same spot. Once it is out just spin the shaft and see how it feels. Like I said. There should be no resistance what so ever. When they snap the shaft it feels like grinding against sand. Everything really makes it sound like the CAS so I would suggest doing this first prior to anything else since it is the easiest thing to do.

Pull out the CAS and see if it spins freely or if it feels a bit rough. If it is a bit rough it means the shaft has snapped in half and is rubbing on itself. It should make next to no noise when it spins. Sounds very similar to when my CAS failed (was due to me overtightening the bolts and putting to much load on the shaft). Car ran fine then got really rough and started missing and then died on me. Would not start at all once it died, simply kept trying to start but wouldn't fire. So check the CAS first since it is an easy thing to rule out.

I take a Centrum multivatimin (the one that says from A to Zinc on the ads) every day - if I remember. I figure a) it doesn't cost much. b) it can't make things worse. c) it can fill a hole in my diet on some days if I havn't eaten the best. d) if my body doesn't need certain vitamins that day i'll piss it out
