Dude that second pic doesn't show the tail lights on the 180, but i know which tail lights you are talking about and the Type X tail lights do look a lot better.

No mods required to fit the larger 264 on the exhaust side. If your springs are getting a bit old and tired maybe replace them on the exhaust side but not necessary. Pretty much if you want to retain the VCT on the intake you cant go anything bigger then the 256 from either Tomei or HKS. Same thing with cam gears, if you want to keep your VCT you can only go a cam gear on the exhaust side. I went the 256/264 setup just so i got the slightly larger cam on the exhaust side. I'll let you know how it goes since its a similar setup to yours.

Mines just the normal black one, i didn't get the blue one. We installed the cams last night and finishing it off today, should be all running tonight and then it gets retuned next week, so i'll let you know what they are like

Yeah its the inside of the headlight that over years gets all crap looking and the actual inside chrome lens starts flaking after a while, seen this on a couple of R33's. Some one do a group buy!

Who cares wether it is a Garrett, Turbonetics, HKS, APexi or god himself created it in a workshop in Switzerland, it's a T04e, an old crap desgined turbo which is outdated in every single way. There is a reason you got it for $300. Honestly mate, if you have spent the money on the engine build fork out the extra couple of grand and get yourself a decent modern turbo. You shall be very dissapointed by the TO4e just like many others have that soon upgraded to something different.

I'll have my gates belt on by tonight so ill let you'se know wether it makes a lot of noise. I don't understand how a belt can make noise if it is installed correctly......but we shall see.

So very true mate, probably the best way to explain it. I don't believe Slide is at fault here, however i can understand the stress and anger on Yogibear's behalf. We sell Exedy clutch kits at work aswell, and say some one order a clutch for a BF Falcon and it was the wrong one. If the customer blamed me that would be a bit bullshit wouldn't it? I mean how can some one open every single box they order and check it. Let alone looking at the clutch and KNOWING what clutch kit it is, how the hell would i know the difference between a BF clutch or a VE clutch?? So i think every one should take the anger off of slide for a bit and understand that mistakes do happen believe it or not, and im sure 75% of us have experienced wrong parts been receieved from a supplier, i know i have. My 2 cents.

I'm soooo suprised that no one does aftermarket headlights for R33 skylines, or hell, even a glass replacement instead of the crap plastic. My mate recently bought glass replacement headlights for his supra and they make it look 100 times better. If some one can make glass replacement headlights for a R33 SI or SII im sure they would make a killing! HINT HINT!!

Autobarn can get all the major exhaust's that you would be able to get. Trust, Blitz, HKS (though the HKS ones are a bit hard to get now), Drift, X-Force etc. So it's not so much "Are autobarn exhausts any good" its wether the particular branded exhaust is any good.

Some one that works for Nissan should do a group buy on Series II headlights, im sure a lot of people would be keen on new ones if they were a bit cheaper.

Ouch some harsh comments on Nissansil. I've dealt with slide numerous times and have always received my stuff and they have been a pleasure to deal with (Aaron, Brent etc). However i can see where you are coming from man. Bit of a tough situation...

Hmm strange, AFR's seem allright and the power curve doesnt have any abnormal dips. It's almost as if something is holding it back. Are the cams dialed in correctly? Compression on all 6 cylinders fine? That setup should be making around 330-350kw@wheels on 1.4bar with bigger injectors What's the injector duty cycle on the 555's?

lol. So the turbo blew on it 2 days ago and now it wont start? Did the car start fine the moment after the turbo blew, or is this the first time you have tried to start it? Could honestly be a number of things mate, depending how the turbo let go and where the exhaust/compressor wheel ended up.

Well ill be damned. Might have to set mine back to 720p then, see if i can notice a difference after playing it on 1080p for so long. Thanks for that man

With that setup definetely, definetely should be making more power then that. Have you got a power graph with AFR's?

Not that this has anything to do with performance, but optically on a vehicle the rear wheels always look smaller than the front, hence why a lot of cars run something like 18's on the front and 19's on the rear so the rear doesnt look smaller than the front. Especially on something like a skyline which has a big ass (compared to like a S15). Have a look next time you look at your car from a bit of a distance, the rear wheels look smaller then the front.

Jesus i cant believe how quickly you guys are filling catch cans up, you sure its a baffle problem in the covers and not f**ked rings or something? I have about 5 drops of oil in my catch can since i put it on which was over a year ago.
