  1. I can't believe I got a warning over this crap. I actually tried to give a bit of constructive advice and this is what I get.
  2. Haha. Well either I will get one of these German ones or I will just get another one of the ones I allready have. I can't have anything without leather due to the sun up here. Makes it unbearable to touch if it sits in the sun for even 10 minutes.
  3. I have a Nismo leather gear knob in my car and was basically the only modification done to the car when I bought it. While I like the gear knob over the years it is getting very worn and ripped and needs replacing (as seen below). To replace it for the same one will cost $80. I figured $80 is quite a lot of money for something that really isn't that flash looking. So I started looking at what all you guys run. Turns out most of you guys run other Nismo gear knobs that cost even more or just your basic universal type from Autobarn for $30-$50. Other than those there are all your brand name Sparco, Momo, Isotta etc. But I find most of those are quite overpriced for what they are and don't really blend in with a lot of Skyline interiors, usually stand out to much. I'm not a fan of the gearknob being the first thing that stands out when you look inside (so no Dildo gear knobs for me lol). Any way I wanted something that looks a bit factory to go with the rest of my interior theme but a bit more modern at the same time without looking out of place. I finally came across a German company that does very luxurious gear knobs for BMWs, Mercs, Porsches etc. and fell in love! Basically there are a few different styles available with a mixture of aluminium and leather, chrome and leather or just leather. However the iceing on the cake is that they have the H pattern on the top of the gearknob for a factory look (also sometimes required for legality in some states...) that illuminates via LEDs in a choice of colours; red, blue, white and yellow. I think they look fantastic and are exactly what I would like. However they obviously don't make them for Skylines....so here is the question, what do you guys think? If there was enough interest perhaps we could get them to make them to fit Skyline M10 x 1.25 gear sticks. Price wise they are around $80-$100 so good price for what you get. Gear boots in seude and leather are also available to match the gear sticks. So what do you think, do you guys like them? They obviously wont make me a one off M10 just for me, but if there was a few of us I don't see why it would be a problem.
  4. I like to keep faith. Same way I keep faith that the pedals for the group buy will arrive by the end of the year.
  5. So you didn't look at carsales prior to posting this thread? You gotta be kidding me.
  6. Have a look through the pictures here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/334988-creating-proper-series-2-clear-glass-indicators/page__p__5424273__hl__s2+indicators__fromsearch__1#entry5424273
  7. Well I think we will be arriving around 12-1 depending on how the roads are. Might be a bit later if we have to go slow due to road works and pot holes. So first of all I think a lot of us should PM each other phone numbers so some one doesn't get lost lol. How about we all check into our hotel rooms and drop of bags and crap and then meet up. Some one else needs to decide where we are actually meeting up because i've only been to Airlie on schoolies so don't know it to well.
  8. Philips make a "silver vision" indicator bulb. Whole thing is silver but flashes organge, that's what I was planning on using. The only problem I can see is with them, they are cutting the hole on a flat surface. Because our glass curves at the edges, you have to cut on this edge. Not to sure how that will go. It's a pain in the ass to cut. So annoying that a glass place won't do it. I wouldn't even care if they gave it a shot and if it smashed, it smashed. The fact every one just says "it can't be cut" pisses me off.
  9. Guys I just messaged every one their tracking numbers for the caliper adaptors
  10. Get some good quality hubcentric ones and you will be fine.
  11. Excellent guys! Glad you could make it
  12. Sent another email tonight. I highly doubt I want to deal with the supplier any more after this.
  13. Would be incredibly hard to get it complianced I would think. Also bidding is all ready at $20,000.
  14. Thanks for the pics! Yeah the Z tune gaurds do look a bit "add on". And i'm guessing the carbon lip on the front bar and sideskirts is simply added on aswell. Damnit. Was hoping it was actually a side skirt you could buy. Either way we should look into doing something like that. Definetely some good ideas on that car.
  15. Some one find more pictures of that first car!
  16. Wow they kind of look like Z tune fenders. EDIT: Is that carbon fibre I see on the bottom of those sideskirts?!?!
  17. Can't wait Will be good to do some highway driving again, havn't been on a trip with the car for nearly a year.
  18. Good luck!! If it works i'll be running out to get that diamond hole saw straight away! How much was it?
  19. Dude what do you want from me? You really think i'm going to give two shits about some one doing exactly what I said? Just proves how stupid and ignorant most of the human race is and it's becuase of retards like that the human race isn't a few hundred years more technologically advanced. I have no sympathy for the unitelligent and if you knew me personally you would realise trying to insult my intelligence with that last comment is a foolish thing to do.
  20. I am broke so I can't at the moment lol. Also my wheels would sit in to far and i'm not sure how it would look without rear gaurds to match. Get some yourself and then post results
  21. That's basically the moto to which I modify my car lol.
