  1. Holy fuck that looks good. PC only im assuming?
  2. That's exactly the main thing. They are an old car now. They are only "hard" to maintain because of their age and parts now getting worn and needing replacing. No harder than any other car of the same age however. Also comes down to what you are like. My car is expensive to maintain because I use expensive tyres, expensive fuel, expensive brake pads, expensive oils, expensive car care products, regular servicing etc. If I didn't give a crap about that it would be just as cheap as any other car.
  3. VCT is for low to midrange power. Therefore it is enabled pretty much from the second you touch the throttle till around 4000-5000rpm (depending on setup). HKS and Tomei both do cams to support VCT, however both are 256 duration and 8.8mm lift. Therefore the only reason people usually get rid of VCT is if they want large duration and large lift cams. Otherwise you do not get rid of it. I personally wouldn't bother trying to get it back as it will cost you a bit of money and if you are currently happy with the setup that is all that matters.
  4. Kind of looking that way. I really don't understand what so ever why suppliers always fucking do this. How on earth do two packages get sent and they can't supply a tracking number for either? What did they send it by hot air balloon? If they aren't here this week i'm demanding a refund. This is a joke.
  5. That could cause it. If you are running the stock ECU it is designed to run with the AFM and factory BOV. On a quick rev the factory ECU and AFM are designed to compensate for the air getting plumbed back into the intake and adjusts the fuel map accordingly. This can cause a stall. With you running no BOV obviously this has the same effect as running an atmo bov from the ECU's point of view. It's been a while since I looked up exactly how the stock ECU and AFM run with the factory BOV but I believe I got that right. The Mafia can correct me.
  6. OK Pm's have been sent so every one should have details regarding payment. DTSNR32 I could not PM you because I think your inbox is full. Let me know when you make space and I will send you the details.
  7. Guys i'll start sending payment information out so we can get this going. The group buy will still be open for more people until the given date, but might aswell get it going given that we have the required amount of people.
  8. You will need to trim the RB25 backing plate slightly and then the RB26 clear cover will fit. Stupid descision to get rid of the VCT. Basically got rid of the best thing about a RB25.
  9. Man tell me about it. Nothing I hate more than trying to find rattles and shit. Was so happy when I found that loose bolt Hopefully yours is something similar.
  10. Psssstt, maybe you should read the last line of the article....
  11. Well I found out what mine is so I suggest doing the same. I went over every single bolt near the bottom of the engine to make sure it was tight and turned out one of the bolts on the alternator was loose and therefore the washer was vibrating causing the noise.
  12. Hence why I just extended my wheel studs Also was better in the long run because if you need to just replace one nut you can just run into an auto parts store.
  13. Yeah I did. If you get the Volk wheel nuts to suit I don't think you need to though.
  14. Oh man! Until that last line I literally was swearing at the monitor the whole time!! EDIT: Serves me right for not reading your whole thread title lol.
  15. Legally yes you have to have it.
  16. Can SAU seriously start filtering out these types of people? I think every person that signs up on SAU should have to fill out a questionnaire. If you score porely on the questionairre you are deemed a dumb ass and therefore unsuitable for the epicness of this website.
  17. Good idea in theory as many others. However in reality it really isn't feasable.
  18. Ah yep works now
  19. If some one wants a set of RB25 runners let me know and I will bring them down to Airlie. Will save half the cost in freight. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/359381-rb25det-standard-intake-manifold-runners/
  20. Hey guys Up for sale I have my intake runners. I got a spare set a few years back to get chromed and then swapped them over. These are the ones originally off of my car. Need these gone to free up space so willing to let go of them for nice and cheap at $20 plus freight. Let me know your postcode and I'll suss out freight charges. Would be under $20 to most places I believe. Basically would suit some one that wants to modify a set without having their car off the road for long. Buy this set. Modify it. Then swap them over. Here's what they could look like if they were chromed like mine Cheers guys. Phil
  21. I can't see anything on the page? It says the part about: "This is by far my most popular addition, a preliminary version has been in circulation to Nistune users for some time. So those who don't use Nistune, here it is" But then bellow it is a white screen? Everything else on the site looks to work though. Good website by the way man, you do it yourself?
  22. Will tonight What are the effects of doing so though? As in how will I know if it is better or worse? Will the AFR just be more stable?
