I have my timing belt and all associated gear off at the moment due to doing some maintenance. God I hate doing it so much. I've done it about 10 times since owning the car and it never gets easier, always end up having no feeling in my fingers for a week.

Installing turbo timers in conjunction with an alarm is a pain in the ass. Because the alarm is trying to arm the car and enable the immobiliser but the car is still running with the turbo timer. So you have to set it up with relays so the alarm can be armed with the turbo timer still running.

Exactly. If you are a true "enthusiast" you love a car for what it is, not because it is a particular make or model. I love Skylines, however I love a thousand other cars aswell. Each for specific purposes. I absolutely hate people that say they are into cars yet then say the best cars are *insert car make here* and all other cars are shit. M3's are fantastic cars and any one that says other wise is an idiot.

My mate has one of these and I have used it. Was pretty suprised by the resistance you could get with the adjustments. Definetely can get a decent workout with one.

I might be if the car is running. In a hundred pieces at the moment. God I hate taking the harmonic balancer/timing belt off. Got the backing plate cut nicely now, everything fits. Just gotta put it all back together tomorrow and install the new oil seal and thermostat.

I don't have a tracking number unfortunately and they have been sent with standard freight so I think that is around the 2 week mark from the USA. So maybe in the next week or so?

Official unveiling at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show I think it looks great. Looking forward to seeing it in different colours as I think the red doesn't do it the best justice. Bit suprised it still looks very similar to the Murcielago/Reventon but I suppose they had a good thing going with the overall design.

Half way there. Had to use some plastic filler on the back of "26" because it is pressed out and would have been a hole once I shaved it off. So did that and shaved the "26" off and turned out pretty damn good. Just says RB Then cut the hole for the VCT which was a pain in the ass, not 100% happy with it, will fix it up a bit today. Started shaving back that backing plate but it was getting late so I will finish that off today. Then just need to paint it and i'm done

When an RB sounds like a WRX it means it is only running on 5 cylinders. Therefore one of your cylinders is not firing. As has been said above. Disconnect one coilpack at a time, the coilpack that doesn't change the engine note is the one that isn't firing.

I sent Daryl an email to see how the brakes are coming along. The Hel lines are in Australia and should be here any day now. I was kind of expecting them to be here last week so there must have been a delay or something with Fedex. Should definetely be here by the end of this week though.
