  1. One thing that I have noticed with a couple of modern cars that I have driven recently (BMW 335i and Nissan 370Z) is their steering response is amazingly touchy. What I mean is you slightly turn the steering wheel and the car automatically responds and moves. I really like this While our Skylines feel a hell of a lot better than a lot of other cars, after driving these more modern sports cars I feel like the Skyline just aint on par and feel a bit slow in steering feel. A small factor would be going to a slightly smaller steering wheel but I was wondering if there is other options? Now I understand that from the steering wheel shaft (wording?) to the steering rack there would be a sort of gearing that for "x" amount of steering wheel degrees you get "y" amount of wheel degrees. Is this something that you can change over? Is there aftermarket parts available to do this? I have heard of drift cars doing something like this, however I am not sure exatly what is involved in doing it. Any one that can shed a bit of light on this area? Has any one on here done this before? I did a bit of a search but couldn't really find anything. I may have been using wrong key words though. Cheers
  2. In the next couple of days I will hopefully have an answer to what we are doing about the rear kit I have looked into all the options available and I think what I have come up with will be the best choice. Will let you know as soon as I hear back from Daryl to see what he thinks about my suggestion. One payment has all ready come through, so as soon as the other two are in my account i'll put the order through.
  3. Agreed! I like the darkish (black, silver, grey) hue's on them. Or white. Not a fan of all the "flash" colours on them. Sure they look good in photos, but to actually drive around in a lime green Murcielago i'd feel like a toss.
  4. Well so what are we discussing here? I thought we were talking about the cars of todays era, that one day will be popular to modify when their price goes down. Skylines were hardly cheap when they first came out ($60,000+ for a GTST, $100,000+ for a GTR). Also modern cars don't need you to 20 mods just to get 50% more power over factory. A slight flash tune, exhaust and intake upgrade is usually all that is needed out of any modern V8 or turbocharged car. Personally, "tuners" cars aside, i'm looking forward to second hand supercars prices coming down in 10 or so years time. Something like a 05 F430 or a 03 Murcielago dropping to around $100,000-$150,000 will make them very realistic to own.
  5. Agreed. I don't care how fast a XR6T/Typhoon is, still not a "cool" car.
  6. Hard to tell from the video who was at fault. Either way that sucks hard. I hate seeing Supercars getting wrecked
  7. Bahahahahhahha that is awesome!
  8. Yep, mates R33 GTR popped third. Wasn't even that much power. All depends on how aggressive you are with it. If you want it to last, I wouldn't be doing 8000rpm launches with semis.
  9. Love it! Crazy Russians.
  10. I didn't think the tunes were that bad given what kind of car it is. Vishnu Procede seems to be the pick and really wakes the car up. Or if you don't want to have warranty issues, you can go one of the BMW Performance tuning packages. Yeah the diff is the worst part about it when you start pushing big power, however there are aftermarket options available so it aint really a biggy. Dad bought his as a demo with hardly any km's, saved like 30k lol.
  11. Lol beat me to it
  12. Keen to grab one in the next couple of weeks if any one has one
  13. Cops are fine man, I wouldn't worry about that.
  14. Yeah righteo than, we can make it an overnight thing. Saturday/Sunday.
  15. It is pretty low to the ground. My car itself is below legal height without the diffuser lol.
  16. Well I didn't really mean it like that.
  17. NOOOO MATT!!!!!!
  18. Awesome! Keen to see how it goes! Also with regards to those intercooler carbon surrounds. How about we just get them made up to fit the S2 front bar in a group buy? Get PSI Parts or some one to try and fit the R32 GTR one to a GTST and see how it fits, it it doesn't fit to well they an hack it up into a mould and begin production
  19. We are ready to go! My mate is going to grab the kit, if it doesn't clear his wheels without spacers than we will just try and sell it on ebay or something. Pretty sure it would sell fairly easily. I will start PMing every one tonight with details. Phil
  20. Yeah that's cool. I'll get a few of the Townsville boys to come and we can meet there for lunch or something.
  21. Yeah mine is the PSI Parts one:
