Yes it would be a good thing. You would be supplying colder (denser) cleaner air to the engine. Maybe gain a couple of horsepower at certain RPM points. Would it be anything you would notice? Nope.
Seriously, you have to understand, the RB25DE is not an engine that you can get power out of without spending a lot of money. They are a small displacement N/A engine in a heavy car. With all the bolt on mods you could think of you would be lucky to gain 30-40hp (which is probably what the engine has lost with it's age). Have a look at the dyno thread in the N/A section. All the power figures are poor. Only a select few who have wanted to spend larger amounts of money have gone beyond the norm, which is still less than what a GTST would make.
Save your money, sell the car once you get off your P's and buy something else.
