hey guys how are we all, last week i blown the stock rb20 turbo in my R32 down heathcote raceway luckily enough i was able to drive the car home 2 hours away finally got round to replacing it with another stock turbo myself today took the car for a test drive and seems normal at first when I accelerate above 3000rpm it pings slowed the car down and the car begins to hesitate and shake idles below normal and feels as if it about to shut off.. only for about 10 seconds then its normal again... what may the problem be, a cylinder, coilpacks, spark plugs? this would be greatly appreciated as I did like try fix it myself before taking it to the mechanics i know i should do a compression test, but I will see what happens cheers thank you, david

Hey there my ceramic turbo blew in my R32 at heathcote and needs to be replaced. I am unsure what to do at this stage your thoughts and suggestions? Looking at buying a second hand RB20DET turbo and have that replaced by a mechanic. I would like to upgrade to something bigger and more powerful but I am under a budget and labour expenses is a problem How much would a workshop charge to swap a turbo? The car is drivable however drove it 2 hours home from heathcote sluggish but drivable Thank you,

First time at the drags and blew the turbo down the track.. high boost on a ceramic turbo a big thumbs down! still very new to the turbo scene Meet a lot of new people and beautiful cars which was fantastic and I did like to say a big thank you to those that helped out with my car, much apperciated A great experience all up, cheers David
