so i can conclude that stock BOV has no sound at all?

Does all K&N pod filter come in red? because my is black when i took it out.

Does Stock BOV have sound? or the wssshhh...sound is from the pod?

my apexi pod filter came with the air flow meter. i just change it. means i remove the K&N pod with the stock air flow meter and replace the whole apexi one with the afm air flow meter.

my mistake. the plugs are the same. 3 pin. I remove the whole K&N filter with the stock air flow meter and replace it with the apexi pod filter which already have an air flow meter. so this should solve the confusion. so, its not wrong right? i do not need to put back the stock air flow meter right? I just just use the one that came with the apexi pod filter.?

Alright. I'll make it clear. I have a Apexi pod filter with the air flow meter attached to it. i went to my car, open up the bonnet and remove the K&N one with screw-drivers and I just simply replace it with the Apexi One. My mistake: the Apexi one i have is a 3 pin air flow meter. so it fits. My K&N one has Adaptor. However, my Apexi one doesn't. But it is not wrong not to have a Adaptor for it right? I'm just worry about the Apexi one fit in nicely, without adaptor. LOL Cheers.

I am considering to put in a HKS SSQV BOV with the whistle sound. I'm aware of the fact that it'll attracts cops. But as long as i drive like a turtle and change gear at RPM 2000 odd, the BOV will not sound (correct me if I'm wrong). I just like the "whistling" sound from the SSQV. that's y i'm considering to get it. in terms of running richer, is true. But tuning is all about getting it to run at optimum (correct me if i'm wrong again).

Similar problem I face too. But I'm sure that those vertical scratches are inside the car; not on the outside. But I'm just afraid that the scratch will not only scratch the tint but the window as well. Still no solution to this problem? P.S: I thought of doing a re-tint and was quoted $50!!!!

If i'm experience difficulty in engaging the gear, is it the cause of the gear box oil? or what? it is not smooth. Cheers.

ok. I've got a K&N pod filter with the stock nissan air flow meter. i've just replace it with Apexi pod filter, with a afm air flow meter. (DIY) without an adaptor. is it safe? is that what people does? i would really appreciate if I got an answer, to assure me. i'm afraid there'll be side-effects. Just to play safe. Thanks.

My current air flow meter is 3 pin. whereas the apexi pod filter is 4 pin. so i guess is not worth to change the whole air flow meter? and just change the head? but why is K&N using 3 pin whereas Apexi is using 4 pin? Just curious.

Alright. My question now is Is it possible to change the pod filter head from K&N to APexi one without changing the air flow meter? or in the first place, can it be done like that? that means i'm keeping the K&N air flow meter. will there be any difference in whatsoever?

I have a K&N pod filter and want to change to the Apexi Pod Filter. I heard that w/o an aftermarket ECU, the Apexi one will blow the engine. How true is it? What if my is a modify stock ECU?

I need to do something to my amp in my boot. always have a loud 'BANG' sound when i start engine or off the engine. need to get an adaptor for the electricity i guess. Would like to know where can i get it done CHEAPLY in Perth? Cheers.
