It looks like the part changed in 93, so VIN would show only one part.

S2.5 I guess is the best fit? Sounds like I should ask what you're working on!? =-]

So the FAST software always shows the part numbers for R33's by year, not by VIN number: 93/08 to 95/01 (series1) 95/01 to 96/01 (series 1.5) 96/01 onwards (series 2)

I reckon s3 is what we call the 40th anniversary model. It's a s2 with extra bits like badges and embroidery on the headrests and options for bodykit and steering wheel etc. Not sure how you've broken the vins down, but certainly the 40th is 1998 only. As far as real-world lingo goes, noone has ever said "series three" in regards to a GTST infront of me.

It's s2 and there is no official s3 in gtst, as you rightly said. There *are* three series in a way... s1, s1.5 (1995 only) and s2. =-]

Oh damn! I just read the second post. Will be 6 without me. Argh! That would give you SO MANY runs on the circuit! Perhaps if I find tyres on the central coast and bring them back saturday night.... hmmm

Some stuff has come up and I also haven't had a minute to go and raid tyre shops so I have to miss this one. If my payment could be carried over to the next, that would be great, and my spot could be filled by anyone on the waiting list =-]

Bum. With such an attractive car in the first post to really show the style and finesse of the event it's hard to say no, but alas i'm working the nightshift before and after the event =-/ Might be the first one in 2-3 years that I miss?
