  1. At the minimum: - Z32 AFM's - Nismo 600cc injectors - Power FC - Garrett -5 turbos - Decent turbo-back exhaust system - Decent intake system (eg. a pair of pods. R33's and R34's don't so much need this) - Bosch 044 installed in tank or with a surge tank setup - Stock intercooler will be OK and give the best response but 350 is def at its limit - Sump baffle and/or extended sump - Sump breather and/or external oil return - U might get away with not fitting a smaller oil restrictor which would save pulling the head off - U will get away with 350 on stock cams JUST if run high enough boost but a set of poncam type b 260 degrees would be a much better way of making that power. If u did get the cams, u may as well just upgrade the intercooler too and aim for 380-400. RB's have an oil control problem unlike SR's so they don't work as reliably wen u just chuck bolt-ons on unless u sort out the sump etc. first.
  2. Oh sorry man. I made the Australia assumption again
  3. The nismo shocks would be heaps better than tein super street. Just get some 6kg front and 5kg rear springs for the nismo's and it should be sweet.
  4. Def get them bored. If I can get in done locally in Hobart, there's no reason why U can't get it done wherever u are.
  5. U'd need at least 22psi and a very aggressive tune to get that on stock cams IMO. Much better to have cams matched to the turbos rather than tryin to push the envelope of one and not the other.
  6. My Xforce SR20 dump was the same. Pretty Rubbish.
  7. Seems about right for 16psi through stock cams to me. stick some 260 degree cams and 18-20psi through, and add 100 to that number.
  8. My mate runs 400rwkw with a safe tune. That's with a JUN 2.7L stroker kit and Tomei 260deg 10.8mm lift cams on 20psi.
  9. both noises are fine. solenoids are meant to go tick tick tick. the tap noise from the bov is the valve slamming closed wen u apply throttle because it's open on idle.
  10. www.horsepowerinabox.com. Ring Morrie and ask for his best deal.
  11. Yeh should be fine mate. I'm pretty sure king do springs to suit coilovers. Just measure the inner diameter and length of the spring. Look up the part numbers of ur coilovers and find out the spring rates and about 2/3 of that spring rate is prob what u want. U can also change the ratio of front to rear spring rate to reduce understeer or oversteer depending on how the car handles now. If the coilovers look quite old, I'd recommend buying a new set tho.
  12. Yeh that's how much until they max out. That PROVES that nismo have different internals to Z32 because Z32 internals in an RB26 housing would max out far less. I didn't say nismo afm's max out at 180rwkw each, i said if z32 internals were put in an RB26 housing, it'd max out at about 180. Read what i wrote again. Both Nismo and Z32 AFM's can read very similar max flow but the nismos are more of a restriction as they are smaller. It's only marginal i know but if it's cheaper then every little it less restriction helps.
  13. shit yeh that'd save havin to pay for 2x external gates. a GT3071R .73 twin scroll would be pretty mean on an SR too.
  14. 80mm is def less restriction than 65mm. They aren't just Z32 internals in a smaller housing because if that was the case, it'd max out way too early because the air has to travel faster through the smaller diameter. I reckon a Z32 sensor and circuit in a RB26 AFM housing would max out at about 180rwkw each. Nismo's are def fine and if he said he had a standard airbox, that'd def be the go but because he has pods, it's cheaper and slightly less restriction than nismos and u get a set of brand new filters with the money saved.
  15. U'll never get power to the ground with twin GT2835's on a rear wheel drive. Sure you don't want somethin a bit smaller like garrett -5's? Will still make 400 at the wheels easy and way less lag.
  16. No need to go bigger than U need. The bigger sards require drilling out the fuel rail holes. I'm sure U could get 420 at the wheels with nismo 600's and a fuel pressure reg easily. I'm pretty sure nismos have 4 squirters.
  17. Nope Nismo 740's are side feed for SR20's and RB25's. Nismo 600cc's are what U want. I've got a mate making 400rwkw on em so should be sweet.
  18. Sorry mate i don't mean how much u paid specifically. I more meant that they're a great high quality car and not cheap so why not put the quality parts in it it deserves rather than spoiling a $25k car to save $200.
  19. How much did ur r34 gtt cost and u won't spend $300 a shock on it?
  20. are CA18DET injectors bigger because they'd work?
  21. Holy shit that's rare. I guess cut it on both sides, pry it apart and order some new nut things from tein.
  22. Just to put in into perspective, my mate makes 420AWKW with 260 degree cams. The bigger u go, the more response U lose.
  23. Pedders are just re-branded monroes but more expensive. They're a very basic shock. Pretty much the shittest new shocks money can buy. I would HIGHLY recommend a set of Bilstein B6 shocks for amazing comfort AND handling or if ur too stingey, KYB Excel-G at the very least.
  24. Those cams will go backwards for response. Keep what U have. 272 cams with -7 turbos is a terrible match. Also I forgot to mention, For HUGE response and drivability, go with about 9.5:1 compression ratio with the pistons and run low boost. Would make a crazy mean street machine with a stroker . I would recommend selling the turbos and buying some -9's but I can understand if that seems too much stuffing round. They WILL make more power with same or better response.
  25. Yeh that's pretty fuct. U'd think after dipping it they'd check it before they go hardcore with it. I'd go a new N1 block. They're only about $2.5k and ur getting a brand new block made of a stronger material. U won't need to acid dip or line bore that at least and the machinist should do U a pretty good deal on the rest.
