R33 Gtst Turbo 5spd Manual
BLK33T replied to iwantagtr's topic in For Sale (Private Whole cars only)
wow ... just posted my car hope this doesnt happen to me ... GL -
Up for grabs is my car. 1 x Black R33 Gts-t 1.5 m-spec Registration: QLD Location: Wollongong Contact: PM me please Mechanically it is 100% ... Serviced every 5000kms or 3 months which ever came first ... Starts and drives perfectly!!! Specs as follows *99 XXX KMs (has had the 100k service done @ 70k) *Full 3" stainless stell turbo back exhaust with split dump pipe. *Stealth FMIC *Red LEDs in dash plus 2 guages in a pillar pod (white on red) *Heavy Duty Exedy Clutch Kit *Smoked front indicators *Low King Springs *Pioneer H/U *Pioneer Splits + Rear Fill and 4 channel Amp Its pretty well just a near stock, reliable car. I only changed things as they needed it. I got a hole in the factory exhaust so i changed it. We live in a hotter climate so i upgraded the cooler to suit et cetera. Selling as I am full time @ uni now so can't afford to maintain it properly/rego/insurance etc and would rather it go to someone who will look after it. There is no finance on the car. The car will need a few touch ups. PLEASE NOTE *Issue with air-con relay not switching from hot to cold <--- happy to fix before sale if buyer wishes but will ad invoice ammount to sale ammount. *Alarm siren not working <--- only just happened haven't had a chance to fix it yet. *There are two small dings (which I will get pictures of in the next few days) have been quoted $120 to fix, *The car is registered in QLD but is currently located in Wollongong NSW. The car is being sold as unregistered in NSW or am happy to ship to buyer if they are in QLD. If the buyer would like me to register the car before they purchase it (NSW) I'm sure we can reach an agreement. ALSO NOTE ALL OF THESE ISSUES HAVE BEEN ACCOUNTED FOR IN THE PRICE I WAS ORIGINALLY GOING TO SELL IT FOR $12500 AND $12000 RESPECTIVELY BUT THOUGHT BETTER TO PRICE IT THIS WAY PRICE IS AS FOLLOWS THEN $10500 for NSW/other states buyers $11000 for QLD buyer <--- due to 5 months rego and less hassles etc. MORE PHOTOS TO COME

sounds like its coming from the centre of the dash up near the demister vents ... sounds exactly right mine does it whenever i start the car also ... wonder if its worth fixing ... I think i'll get a second opinion on my car ... anyone in Wollongong/ Sydney known to do AC on lines? ^^^ wonder if its just an electrical problem not a mechanical one ... hmmm
-
well thats 2 people who have it ... someone must have fixed the issue before if its somewhat common ...
-
yeah I thought that it migh be 2 problems i.e electrical and re-gassing ... I dropped around a air con/auto sparky who said its probably an electrical problem... They said they could fix it but because there is little info available about the car (no circuit diagrams etc) that it makes hard to diagnose ... thats why i was wondering if anyone had a similar problem ...

No ideas anyone???

My Restoration
BLK33T replied to Godzilla32's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
its going to be to good to drive ... -
Hey All, Wondering if anyone has had the same problem as me. Every time i start my car (or change the vent settings on my CC) I get a weird clicking sound like something is trying turn but is jammed coming from behind the dash. The car has also stopped blowing cold air. Which is a pain in the arse with this heat. Any ideas? ALSO who in Sydney/Wollongong would be the best to send my car to for something like that. Planning on selling the car soon so would like to have this issue well and truly fixed before listing it. Thanks

can you bolt on GTR front guards to a GTSt ???

I like it ...

the o2 sensor isn't necessarily linked to fuel economy as i understand it, but more so linked to emissions control ... don't get me wrong it plays some part in fuel economy I'm sure ... (there is a link/thread somewhere by SK in regards to this) the biggest culprits are vent to atmo BOV and pod ... as they make the AFM readings sent to the ECU incorrect which causes the ECU to dump loads of fuel in an attempt to compensate when it doesn't need to...
-
sorry bout the late reply ... ended up being a plastic gear that had let go and some loose or dodgy wiring ...
-
get rid of the pod and the BOV... I had the exact same issue ... removed the pod and bov as per research and info found on this site and presto I started getting 400-450kms to a tank if I keep it off boost around town, 350kms with a heavy foot. On the freeway FC is great for instance I've been from Wollongong to Penrith twice this week and have only used 2/3 of my tank so if you include the few trips I've also done around town that is heading towards 600-650kms from this tank... car = 33 gts-t modz = full stainless steel exhaust (split dump, HF cat cannon etc), 300x600x80 FMIC running through stock, kings springs, sway bars and interior modz. next modz = remap of thes tock ecu and a major service

my odometer in my 33 stopped ticking over today ... so I've got a few q's 1.What do you think is the likely cause? 2. What do I need to fix this? 3. How much will it cost. also a couple of days ago the speedo started to jump around every now and again what do you think would be causing this... I've heard its just a sensor that will need changing?
