^^ Ahhh I see I just thought that it was odd because he said that if someone had money to do more he would recommend they change the clutch and/or injectors thought he was refering to replacing the stock items R33 GTR is not a bad car ... its a great daily and still quite quick around the track and drag strip yes? but not as raw as the 32 and 34 <--- the 34 i've never driven so can't really comment on that however.

+1 for similar sort of problem ... after I had overlays put on my dash the tacho needle started jumping wildly every now and then and also not working ... would it be the sender perhaps ? or do you think it is something more sinister?

I hate that feeling when you know you are going to be pulled over ... I usually pull over as soon as I see the cop start following me and whack the hazards on

the other thing that was really cool about the amuse supra was that it was only lightly tuned it only had some suspension mods and a turbine kit ... it had stock injectors and i think also a stock clutch. not bad IMO

supras aren't crap ... If the drift king says that supras are ok then I suppose they must be. Ultimately though the scale goes like this ... 1. 34 GTR 2. 32 GTR 3. 33 GTR 4. Supra 5. GTT 6. 33 and 32 GTS-t 7. wow... 3.8 60's with a piss weak lauch and two people in the car must be around 1850 or more of weight that the 3.8 TT is hammering to those speeds. one word impressive I like how he kept saying 'real world performance' to refer to his way of testing also

^^ lol true that ... stock is the best bet for passing emissions ... plus using the cat that cam with your car originally will help a great deal. when an import is complied they usually put one crazy restrictive cat in to help with noise and emissions

hey mark, any of those adjustable valves that control zorst noise or silencers aren't allow for an epa test; just like you can't have an easily adjustable blow of valve. The idea being that you can turn everything down when you go to do the test then drive around the block twist and flick some swithes etc and the car is back to being a loud, fast and angry import

^^ hey bonsai, I'm not sure what you mean but it seems you don't like cops much. Mark, you won't pass epa with a silencer in the muffler unless you like weld it in ... best bet is to see if you can get that other working maybe you could sneak that through

+1 stock internals hey guess what the diesel engines in oil tankers make like 100000kws and some stupid amount of torque @ like 100 rpm and yes they are turbo charged
