im affraid i am a grandma driver in the wet too. im scared to death of something like this happening to my car. can you get a friend (a very good friend) who has insurance to put their hand up and say it was their fault and you can pay their insurance bills?

ive known two people who have worked at the raffles and quit because it was a bad place to work, and yes it is owned by the same guy who owns coco's i beleive - not sure if its just the restaraunt upstairs thats owned by him, or if the bar is too. upstairs is more art deco style from pics ive seen - i kinda like it, i think its a nice change from regular places. its a shame that everything is so expensive there.

i have been to the raffles bar, but i haven't been upstairs to the restaurant yet... has anyone been? I read a review in box magazine, and it looks really nice, but i was wondering what type of food they have and how expensive it is... im guessing it is expensive, but is it worth is or are you just paying extra to help them pay their renovation debts?

'customer service representitives' grind my gears. i have been on the phone to them alllllllllllll day. i received a cheque in the mail from my insurance company, a refund of excess i paid earlier in the year. so its been about a month since it was deposited into my bank account through australia post and i still havent got the money in my bank account yet. so i thought it may be usefull to contact the customer service people at the bank / australia post / my insurance company to see what was going on. the bank say: they have never received it and have no record of it, so i need to do a trace with australia post. australia post say: they have done an offline transaction (meaning i didnt put the cheque right onto my efptos card) and it was sent to my bank and thats the most they can tell me, after it is sent to the bank it is no longer in their hands. so at this point i think - lets just cancell the cheque and get a new one sent out and put it in at the bank. but nooooooooooo i cant do that because when i call the insurance company - the cheque has allready been presented! (the funds have left the insurance company) so i am in limbo and not one of the 'customer services officers' or whatever they are called can tell me where my money is. it is rather frustrating. -

well its pretty silly saying - you cant get fired for not signing a contract - if you dont sign it then clearly you cant legally work ?? you dont have to sign the contract if you dont like the conditions - but if you dont sign the contract then you dont get the job. so pretty much if you want a job, you are bullied into shitty circumstances - like, working sundays with no double time, or no sick / holiday pay. all things that everyday workers in a country like australia should have. -
whilst we are on the topic of r33 headlights... i bought some bulbs from supercheap auto and im getting complaints from ross that they are way too bright when im driving behind him. they are 55W bulbs - what is the W that an R33 is supposed to have? they are the white- looking lights.. i forget the brand name n stuff, but i still have the box in the car.

i saw transformers on sunday arvo and i havent watched the old transformers movie so i didnt really know what the story line was - but i really liked it. i thought it had the perfect balance of cars and romance and comedy whilst still being about robots from out of space.

haha yeah i do - im allergic to nuts so eating out is difficult sometimes. i have to explain that nuts cant be anywhere near the food thats being made - utensils and stuff cant be shared in the kitchen because of nut traces etc.. so pizza's are easy.. italian food doesnt really have nuts in it so i like it =] asian / indian / thai / chinese tends to have nuts / satay n stuff so as much as i like to try it i cant cos theres too much risk.
