M35's Wheels. What Wheels Do You Like On Your M35?
Shazbanger replied to bLaQ.bOi's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
I'm going to be a bit boring here, but I like the stock 18's, on my Axis. Pretty certain they are AR-X stockies, not Axis stockies though. Ideally, I'd like to get some thicker rubber, a bit of low, and possibly some white lettering on the tyres. I think that would look kinda cool. -
I don't know how many of you guys are into dogs, but my fiancee is a pet photographer. She does a lot of free work for various pounds, shelters and animal hospitals. Heres a couple

Hey chaps, Any of you fellas going to be getting this? If you're a fan of the Elder Scrolls Series, you'll be all over this one. Basically, a MMORPG with a PvP and PvE engine, with 300 player battles in a world that takes 3 hours to walk from one side to the other. I'll most likely get it on PS4 first, then when mods become available, get it on PC. From the website; You basically fight for one of 3 alliances. The Daggerfall Covenant is comprised of the two Provinces of northwest Tamriel: High Rock and Hammerfell, home to the Bretons and the Redguards. The Covenant has also offered the Orcs the opportunity to return to their ancient homeland of Orsinium in exchange for their support. Working together, the three races have formed a powerful alliance that aims to restore the Second Empire and bring peace and prosperity back to Tamriel. The Ebonheart Pact is the most tenuous of alliances, consisting of former enemies turned allies in northern and eastern Tamriel. The Nords, Dark Elves, and Argonians of Skyrim, Morrowind, and Black Marsh fight to restore stability to the Empire and ensure their own autonomy. The Aldmeri Dominion is composed of the three races of southern Tamriel: the Wood Elves of Valenwood, the Khajiit of Elsweyr and the leaders of the Pact, the High Elves of the Summerset Isles. The Aldmeri Dominion fights to stop the dangerous machinations of humankind, and restore the Elven dominance in Tamriel. Cheers, Shaz

Already happening http://motoring.ninemsn.com.au/cars/news/8624964/new-l-plater-news-laws-2013-australia Log books reduced from 120hrs to 80hrs as well, as long as proper driver training completed. But RiseOfBrutality, you're spot on mate, there should DEFINITELY be mandatory driver training for new drivers (L / P plates). I attended I think around 6 defensive driver days and 2 advanced driver training days whilst on my L's / P's (My mum made me do it, as that was a compromise for owning a high powered RWD car on my Ps) and I cannot be more thankful for the experience it gave me. Genuinely believe it made me a better driver today. Cheers, Shaz

Sydney Stagea Meet/cruise In Aug/sept
Shazbanger replied to WAGON_BOY's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
+1 for this. I'll hitch a ride with Scott (r33huntme) and come film. His Stag is way faster then mine. I'd prefer a Saturday, and no issues on any of those dates that I can foresee, but I'll pick Aug 24th. Cheers, Shaz -

Haha, thanks gents. -
Agreed. New update is amazing. Still, I'd like to see 4K recording on live playback (Even downsampled to 720p would be good) and the ability to link multiple GoPros and switch between them live, instead of having to reboot the app. But, the update is definitely a step in the right direction.

R33 Gtr Accident At The Lowdown & Garage 88 Meet
Shazbanger replied to xntrq's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Whenever I film an event, I always ask people if they want their number plates blanked out. Most of the SAU chaps don't really care. The answer is always the same "I'm not doing anything illegal, so why would I care?" Would be awesome if every community adopted the same mindset as those here. Cheers, Shaz -

Haha, dammit. Shazza? Shazbanger? -
I've got a 7D at the moment. Whilst I mainly focus on video, my fiancée is a pet photographer, and she is a big fan as she shoots in a lot of low light environments. We also have a 600D, and she rates the fast shutter lag, and the ability to goto a higher ISO without noise on the 7D much higher. We'll be upgrading shortly, and I'm going to be going for the new Canon 70D, due to the new autofocus system for video (This is crucial for me) and she will be upgrading to the 6D for the full frame sensor, and much better high ISO noise rating. She was originally going to go for the 1DX, but whilst it is an amazing camera, the $6500 price tag is just a bit too exxy at the moment. I was also looking at getting a Canon C100, but again, at $6100, its a touch too expensive at this stage. Cheers, Shaz

Made this one from the recent putty run. All shot on a 7D with Canon 18-200mm IS glass and a Glidecam HD2000. Most of the day was around F11, at 1/125 shutter speed in 720 @ 60fps. Color grading was done using Magic Bullet Mojo plugin, as well as some level adjustment, exposure correction, gamma correction, individual colour level adjustments, a vignette mask and a whole heap of other stuff I've forgotten. Transitions were made up using the "Twitch" plugin from Red Giant. Was all edited in after effects. The slow motion highway shots were done using the twixtor pro plugin, and reducing the speed to 30% of original and rendering in a 29.97fps timeline. The shots of all the cars coming past with me filming from the side of the road was actually 3 or 4 clips, that I had to merge together. If you look closely at the background, you'll notice the trees are a bit weird in the transitions. I wasn't really sure how to make this look better' i'm guessing a mask and copypasta of the previous shots background layered over the top might be the way to go, but I just played around with the opacity settings and keyframed it to look half decent. Feedback welcomed! Cheers, Shaz

Thanks Terry. Good to get some positive PR for the club too. Hope you didn't mind me using the SAU logo.

Hopefully should have the video done by tonight chaps. I done around 2 minutes of it last night (Which still took from 6:30 - 10:30!) and was buggered and went to bed! Looks good so far though! Still got a metric shittonne of footage to go through and chop up, etc.
-
Haha "Oh hey, you're the swaybar guy, aren't you?"
-
Had an awesome day chaps. Met alot of new people. Now to string together 18gb of footage into something half watchable. Haha.
-
I think I've got my 7D car mount sorted, so some highway rolling videos should come out awesome! What channel are we using on the 2way? It may have been mentioned earlier, but CBF going back.
