Anyone Ever Bought Anything From Otomoto?
Shazbanger replied to Black Widow's topic in New South Wales
Is it still Grant that owns/runs the place? I bought my old MZ20 Soarer off him, along with a few other bits and pieces, and he we always happy to help out. My dealings were in 2010 with him, but yeah, he was a top bloke. -
Which Coilovers For R34 Coupe
Shazbanger replied to NISMO.SKYLINE's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I went for the Blitz coilovers. 8/6 out of the box. Nice firm ride. I drive my car daily, so comfort was a big sale point for me, and they are quite good. I didn't adjust the dampering out of the box, but I think if anything, I could probs go a "tad" softer, but they are great. -
Yeah, the cornfields are between the Farm and the power station.

Call To Ban Young Drivers In Performance Cars
Shazbanger replied to R TUNE's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I agree with the impoundment of people actually driving dangerously on the roads. 100%. What I don't agree with is the fact that Mr Police Officer himself has the authority to make the call as to whether or not you can get your car impounded/crushed on his own, without even the rights to contest in a court of law. Cheers, Shazza -
List of things that do NOT require certification: This list was generated from a Q&A held at Eastern Creek by the RTA, at a Motoring Enthusiasts Conference on 26/02/2012. See full PDF below. Source: https://sites.google...th-stakeholders PDF from RTA: http://www.rta.nsw.g...rn-creek-qa.pdf Sorry, didn't copy and paste how I thought it would, so the list is the first link above. Proper legal stuff. Its like the PDS/FSG of cars. Boring as batshit, but covers their ass completely. http://www.legislation.nsw.gov.au/viewtop/inforce/subordleg+522+2007+cd+0+N/?dq=Regulations%20under%20Road%20Transport%20(Vehicle%20Registration

Where To Buy New Moulded Carpet?
Shazbanger replied to Purchase's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I think the company "Knox Auto Carpet" does aftermarket moulded carpet replacements too. They have ads all over eBay. Cheers, Shazza -
You haven't noticed any kind of suspicious behavior recently? Like cars following you home, or people doing drivebys? If you can't come up with anyone you think would want to do this, then chances are, it is random, for whatever ridiculous reason they have.

I agree with Ali. 225/40/18 on the front, and a 255/35-40/18 on the rear. For tyre selection, it comes down to the way you drive. Do you track it often? Do you daily it? Is it a weekend only car? Do you carry big loads? Would you prefer grip or longevity? How much did you want to spend? There is a lot of factors to take into consideration when picking he right tyre for YOU, not just the right tyre in general. Cheers, Shazza

nsw/act [Syd] R34 Gtr Vspecii/nur Rear Seats
Shazbanger replied to BeeLieu's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I had the rear seats out of mine yesterday, and they look 99% the same, even the mounting points are the same. 2 x 10mm bolts on the front facing edge where the front of the bottom bit of the rear seat is, and 2 10mm bolts on the back edge at the bottom of the backrest, that bolt through those bits of metal hanging out. And the top bit just slides over 2 catches. -
Spotted a white R34 GTT outside beacon hill Maccas/Servo. Has a big advan sticker across the windshield, and some of those bob Jane wheels you can switch the centre on.

Hi mate, I bought a 2000 Liberty wagon, and transplanted an entire GC8 STI into it. Mine was running a VF23 turbo, STi TMIC (With co2 system) , 550cc injectors, 3" zorst, fuel pump and bigger intake, and on 21psi on stock internals, and made just over 200kwatw. If you do go for a Subaru, spend the extra dosh and get an STi. If I had my time again, I would go for something like a 2006 model, with the EJ257 motor. 2.5L, closed deck block, forgies from factory, and able to handle over 20psi with very little mods. A good mate of mine is selling a GC8 Club Spec Evo 4 at the moment. That has a 2.5L closed deck EJ257, with with Version 3 heads, a PWR W2A cooler kit, with co2 spray, full haltech setup, 6 speed DCCD gearbox and R180 rear end, with cucso tarmac cetnre and rear LSD, Cosworth intake, a TD0620G with 8cm housing, Cosworth camshafts, 650cc injectors, brembos, coilovers, and water methanol injection, and he is pushing about 280kw atw, on 23psi. TL;DR - It costs big money to get good power. Cheers, Shazza

Yep, pack a punch is hard to get to in TranZit. You need to open the bank safe, by flicking the 2 buttons outside of it. Then you need to put a built power generator there, then get a mate to put a power generator at the door inside the power plant with the electricity bolt on it. Once you've done that, it opens a tunnel through the bank safe, where you go down, and the PAP machine is there.

R34 Gtt Camber Adjustment
Shazbanger replied to Shazbanger's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
More of an FYI then anything, but I chucked the car up in the air and had a look last night. I can confirm that there is NO eccentric camber adjustment bolts factory on my car, and after speaking with Whiteline in length, I've opted for the KCA348 kit as a means to adjust. It doesn't give a HUGE amount of adjustment (Only between 0.5 - 1.0 degrees neg) but according to my calculations with my wheel offsets/width, that should be enough for the time being. Here is a picture of the kit installed. It is blurry, but you get the idea. Cheers, Shazza -
Chaps, Got a couple of quick questions I'm sure someone will be able to answer. I've done a search, but there is a mixed variety of opinions/results, and I wanted to make sure before I start ripping shit apart. 1) I'm told the R34 GTT (2000 model) has factory eccentric camber bolt adjustment. Is this correct? 2) Working of the above being correct, how much camber adjustment will I get? I've read anywhere between 0.5 degrees, and 1.5 degrees, but more toward the lesser side of adjustment. 3) I'm running a set of 17" Work CR Kais, 17x8 +35. Given the relative sensible approach to these offsets, I'm imagining that with a small drop, not a huge amount of camber adjustment is going to be necessary, but I'd like to hear from others who have done similar. 4) If all the above is incorrect, and the factory system has 0 adjustment, a KCA348 control arm upper outer bushing camber correction kit will work, yeah? Thanks in advance gents. Any advice would be much appreciated. Cheers, Shazza

You know if you select the "TranZit" game mode, instead of Survival, the map is actually every single one of those levels, and you can catch a bus / run between levels?
