Its terrible. I live just near there, and I know the road he was going down, and HEAPS of people go up that big left hander past the driving range all the time with excessive speed. From what I heard, there wasn't even any brake marks on the road suggesting he was travelling so fast that he didn't even have time to hit the brakes. They also captured the car rocketing past a security camera moments before, and it was absolutely moving. As soon as you go around that corner, there is a set of traffic lights, so I have NFI why he was moving so fast. Condolences to the family.

Yeah, I got it mainly for zombies. Have found so many Easter eggs. Anyone built the jet turbine gun yet? It's pretty good, but breaks easy.

Ribs and Rumps in Manly is awesome if you want a massive steak/ribs meal. Aubergine on DeeWhy beach does a good menu, Tuesday's is $30 for 3 courses. Pretty cheap. Braza at Newport is awesome all the time. Chronic meat sweats ensure shortly after though.

Spotted a red stagea with a black front bar last week, once outside Hardware and General / Chickens Plus in Brookvale, and the other time was in Neutral Bay, outside NAB. Also spotted a black stagea this arvo outside NAB again at the traffic lights. Gave the nod, got one back. On here?

Spotted a white GTT in Neutral Bay the other day. GTTxxx plates. Also a red stagea with a black front bar twice (once in Brookvale outside Hardware and General / Chickens Plus, and again in Neutral Bay, outside NAB) Also spotted a dark grey R33 GTR on Wakehurst parkway the other day, and gave the thumbs up, and got thumbs up back.

R33/r34 Gtr Bilstein Coilovers.

Got any pics of ride height installed mate? Cheers, Shazza -
Hi guys, Selling a standard intercooler, that came off a 260RS Autech RB26 Stagea. I've been told they are a R34 GTR item, but happy for someone else to confirm. Reason for selling is that I'm going a different path with intercooler type, so this is no longer needed. Came off a 2001 Stagea 260RS Autech. Pickup from Seaforth, NSW, 2092, or Neutral Bay NSW 2089 during the day. You can contact me on (zero four zero one two zero two five zero nine) or at showusyourtints (at) gmail (dot) com or PM here. Pics: Cheers, Shazza

Chaps, Acquired a R34 GTR Cooler over the past few weeks, and just had a couple of questions about installation. 1. Is there any company that makes a piping kit to suit GTR FMIC to GTT? If so, who? 2. Will one of those generic eBay cooler piping kits work without too much modification? 3. Following on from question 2, are the premade kits (Around $300ish) really shit quality? Because, if they are, I'd prefer to just go to my local place, and get some bends and whatnot. 4. Finally, will it fit? I've not had the bar off yet to suss out measurements, but just from observation, it doesn't look like too much of an issue. I did try a search, but the threads that came up weren't exactly the information I was after. Thanks for your time gents. Cheers, Shazza.

Spotted another Black R34 yesterday coming from Terrey Hills heading toward Belrose on ForestWay Road. Gave the wave, and got the wave back. Also, on the same road, but heading the other way a few days ago was a red r33, which sounded EPIC, hammered pass me, and had a big SAU sticker on the rear window.

Just out of curiosity guys, is the Entrant Form on the first page still the correct one? The only reason I ask is because the dates are different, and just wanted to confirm before sending it off. Cheers, Shazza

Haha, fair enough. Perhaps lawn bowls? Cheers, Shazza

G'day Gents, How about a cruise upto Palm Beach for a BBQ / Footy / Drinks? I've done this with a few other people in the past, and it was a most enjoyable day. Cheers, Shazza

Yeah, I don't mind the Repco tools either. The SCA ones, although passable, aren't nearly as good. Sucks about your loss mate. If you need to do something in particular, I have a fairly well equipped home garage over on the Northern Beaches if you need to use a space or whatever. You bring the beer, and we're good. Cheers, Shazza

Never mind, answered my own question. Clearly my eyes are painted on. Cheers, Shazza

Awesome. Can we join the Club on the day as well? I'm keen top bring along my stock as a rock 34, just to give it a baseline before mods, and I'm trying to get my mate with his 260RS Stagea to come along.

Hey guys, I've not been to any SAU events yet, but this looks awesome. Do I need to have attended previous events or anything to register interest? Cheers fellas. Shazza

Bc Br Coilovers On R34 Gtt
Shazbanger replied to R1maniac's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Yeah, i've always run Rubber upper myself for the noise factory. Sure, they flog out quicker, but they aren't that hard to replace. Might be a noob question, but why are the camber tops not a selling point? I'm guessing there is a better form of camber adjustment then the tops? Cheers, Shazza -
Bc Br Coilovers On R34 Gtt
Shazbanger replied to R1maniac's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
You can ask them to change the springs out when you order I believe. But you're right, they do seem to come with excessively harsh spring rates. If its a daily driver, from reading what others have done, it seems a 8kg F / 6kg R setup is good for dailying. The BCs look like a decent unit for their price, but I have heard adverse stories relating to the longevity of their design, and the comfort of their dampers. Some people have mentioned they can tend to be quite harsh on the street. YSRs have a 33-way Damping against BCs 30-way. YSRs have an aluminium upper mount vs BCs Rubber Upper Mount. YSRs have adjustable camber tops as standard (Unsure of the BC ones? They look like they have?) YSRs are $995 vs BCs $1140. They seem to be very similar in design. They even look similar. -
Bc Br Coilovers On R34 Gtt
Shazbanger replied to R1maniac's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Hey mate, I'm in the same boat as you, looking for coilovers. The BC ones look good, but was also going to ask if anyone has had any experience with the YSR Coilovers? http://www.yellowspeed.com.au/ They look like a decent unit, and can adjust the preload separately to the ride height, which is a big one for me. Also look to be fully rebuildable by an Australian company, which also interests me. Anyone had any experience with them? Cheers, Shazza -
Hi mate, What condition are the coilovers in? And just confirming they fit 1999 GTT? Don't happen to know the spring rates off the top of your head do you? Cheers, Shazza

How To Get Rid Off Pink Permanent Marker In Door Trim
Shazbanger replied to skylinepower's topic in General Maintenance
Hi mate, I've had a similar issue with a different car. I used a product called "Shift-It" made by Kenco. I use this stuff to remove window tint glue, but it also works very well at removing other stuff. Spray a bit onto a rag, and scrub, and it should remove it all. Make sure you wash it off using Prepsol, or Wax &Grease remover, because if you leave it on too long, it will soak into your door trim, and ruin it. Cheers, Shazza -
I think you will find that you have an exhaust manifold leak somewhere, as mentioned above. Perhaps the manifold gasket, dump gasket, or turbo flange gasket (hehe flange). Other then that, you did mention earlier that you used a 5W40 oil. Is this what you normally use? Was the ticking there prior to the service? Maybe the oil is too thin, causing your tappets to make more noise then they normally would? Then when you start driving as the oil pressure increases, its causing it to go away, hence why you can't hear it unless idling? Cheers, Shazza
