  1. Definitely a unique look... They actually look a bit like tail lights off the R390GT race car...
  2. please close / delete as these have been sold
  3. Thanks mate!
  4. Hey everyone, Kinda new here - have read lots of posts and made one or two since joining over a year ago... Have owned my R33 GT-R since Oct 05 and have had lots of fun with it. She's pretty much stock (I was after a GT-R as neat and clean as I could afford...), but have added the odd thing here and there, like a Fujitsubo 3.5/4" exhaust and TEIN coilovers, clear lenses and S3 xenons. Also put the proper GTR rims back on with some good Bridgestone rubber. Do lots of driving around Sydney (Blue mountains, south sydney) and work at Nth Sydney. One of my fave roads is the Old pac highway on a quiet night... Looking forward to learning more from you guys! Cheers Matt
  5. As per Shaun's, if you're willing to separate the head I'd be interested in the throttle bodies - please let us know Cheers Matt
  6. To comply with ADRs, which state that any car with xenon (HID) headlamps must have automatic headlight range control (the switch on the R34s in manual adjustment) and headlamp washers, which the R34 doesn't have. You'll notice on the European cars (and now some domestics too like Holden Caprice) when you order the Xenons as an option, it usually comes as a package with washer jets and automatic height adjustment.
  7. Item: BBS RKII replica alloy wheels. MADE IN GERMANY. Includes Dunlop SP9000 tyres. Age: Unknown. Came on my GT-R when I bought it in 2005. Tyres themselves are one year old. Condition: Very good, but not perfect. Price: $800 To Fit: (What car) These came on my R33 GT-R, but I wouldn't recommend fitment to a GT-R as the wheels are not wide enough (7 1/2 in.). PCD is 5 x 114.3, Offset unfortunately unknown as I cannot find it stamped anywhere on the rim. Location: Sydney - pickup only, happy for rims to be tried on car before purchase. Contact: Matt - (0404) 495 329 Comments: Set of 4 alloy wheels with matching tyres. Despite being a single-piece rim they are a close match aesthetically to the real BBS RKII (shown below). The centres are painted silver, with a polished outer rim / dish. They are in very good condition but have some scratches, including from a tyre fitter (they are reverse rims), and some gutter rash, mainly on one rim (worst condition rim is shown in detail below). NO buckles, wheels are in perfect structural condition. Tyres have around 50% tread remaining; dimensions are 235/45 ZR 17 93W. Here's what they looked like on my car:
  8. Mine was missing on the car too when I bought it; I got one from Powerplay at Drummoyne. It came in pretty quickly, I think they got it from Nissan Australia so you should be able to get it direct from them instead of going through someone else.
  9. Sam you probably have serviced my boss's AM DB7 Vantage, it's a Slate blue-grey auto...
  10. Thanks very much guys. Really appreciate the help. I will give these guys a go.
  11. Thanks for the fast reply and the helpful response Blitz Guess I'm just a bit frustrated with the service from some of the shops I've been to and while I'm not necessarily after a workshop with an impeccable record I just wanted to see what other places people were using and would recommend and you have listed some so thanks, i will check out the other guys you've referred to. Apologies for asking a newbie question. Matt
  12. Hi all, Which workshops in the Sydney area would you guys recommend, for servicing and buying parts for your car? The following are workshops I've either heard of or dealt with a little: Powerplay Imports (Drummoyne) JustJap (Kirrawee) Unique Autosports (Seven Hills) I'm after: Knowledgeable service and advice Friendly service Efficient service and parts delivery Returns phone calls Professionalism in working on my car Reasonable prices charged for parts and service I know the above things are more or less the same but occasionally one or more of these things are completely absent from one or more of the aforementioned workshops Any help greatly appreciated Matt
  13. cheers mate. the gtr is stock except for tein springs and the gts was keeping up ( a bit too well...) so i'm curious as to whats been done to it or if it's just my driving...
