  1. i know ive got the valves and springs and cams correct as they are all colour coded from the factory red / green. I belive i've put the cam followers / solid lifters on the wrong sides , ie exhaust on the inlet and vice a versa. What i need to know is are the solid lifters on a neo the same or are they different in any way. If this was so it would explain the possible top end rattle i have when i try to rev the car over idle speed. At idle the car runs and sound perfectly ok , although the speed is a bit up and down but i put this down to me needing to set up the timimng with a timing gun Cheers
  2. please can anyone help , are the RB25 exhaust and inlet cam followers the same for a neo R34 engine. Just rebuilt my engine and i seem to have a top end rattle ( very quiet ) but none the less it was never there before and it does'nt do it on idle just when i raise the revs slightly .The cams and springs are colour coded red and green respectivly so no missunderstanding there , the only thing i think i could have done even though i had marked either side 1 to 12 and " in / ex " is get them on the wrong side and mix them up due to probably spinning the head round while i assembled it , and forgetting to spin it back round.I know the springs are different lengths ,and the bit of valve that is left showing above the spring retainer and collets is too on one side. Other than that all is running perfect and very smooth with good oil pressure and temps are all good. Dont want to take it on a road test until i know what the noise is incase i do any damage to it. Many thanks Mike
  3. Hi all , in need of some desperate help. Just fitted a Q45 throttle body to my Greddy inlet on my 34 GTT and need to know if theres any links to the wireing up of the Q45 , or any info available. Its all finished and on but having trouble finding anything on the TPS wireing. Also the GTT has 2 x butterflies and the Q45 only one , does this mean that one of the plugs to theoriginal TB becomes obsolete ? Cheers in advance mike
