drop the safc altogether then, it would be the smart thing to do. i see where you are coming from guess i will just have to start saving my pennys up for a pfc then,haha, yeh so no need for a change of the standard fuel pump you say? well that wil save me up some money for the pfc then, is there any other little things that i will be needing ? any idea on your gains before and after the pfc was fitted?

still stock afm and fuel pump to. so you dont think i should need to change fuel pump for this tune?? oh yeh and also fuel cut defender? should i have one as i dont. 194 from this set up, i would be happy with something around that mark

haha yeh ecu would be much better but yeh it is a pitty bout the extra cost, i was thinking about the safc cause i was just thinking of keeping this setup and not upgrading my turbo or anything. thats the reason i was thinking safc not ecu, did you ever tune the safc and the new ecu with the setup the same as mine? if so what was the differance in the gains. i know what your saying tho, and yeh knowing me like alot of the other guys on here that i hear them say, the standard turbo and all if fine, but then after a few months they start searching for more power wanting more power, haha.

i was just wondering , instead of me going out and buying a power fc could i use a safc or safc 2 for my setup as i aam only sticking with the standard turbo and the set up i have now and it is alot cheaper then getting a pfc. so with my pod,full cat back exhaust with dump pipes,bc runs 12 psi, front mount would i be able to next just get a safc and a new fuel pump instead of the pfc?? and what about my afm? will it need an upgrade?

yeh its only for the fuel vapurs aint it? yeh if i get rid of it do i just block off the lines that run to the manifold? it wont cause me any trouble not having the cannister will it? not going to do anything if it dont run to the manifold anymore/??

yeh it is connected to the charchoal cannister still. but then i have a hose running on the back of this part but the front has two open holes with nothing running from it and i have one lose hose nno connected to anything.

so does anyone have a pic of there fuel purge tank that i could see? its the line that runs back to the inlet manifold to the purge line on the tank cannister. anyone got pics? so i know if i have lost a part or where the line connects to??

its off the can one line says fuel tank and the one that the line has come off says purge.
