Yeh on the import tuner website I've even seen an Accord made into an R34 GTR!

You can change the cams yourself IF you know what you're doing but I do not recommend tuning them yourself. If you change the timing too much you might easily end up with a blown engine. Tuning of cam gears should only be done on a dyno.. And yeh IN and EX cam gears for HKS are identical and they're also the same as the RB26 cams.

Actually I do think the noise is to do with the filter and maybe the engine. A friend with an RB20DET + HKS pod is VERY loud. Then again Franks' car with RB25DET NEO + Apexi is very loud too. In general all aftermarket filters are loud. When looking at the link I sent before the best for performance and filtration were the K&N and the Apexi.

I'm using RaceBrakes RB25 (similar to RB74) and they are not too bad. They dont' fit in the caliper properly though so they clunk a little bit, smell like fish (literally) and squeal but they do the job alright. I just got some endless pads so I'll see how they go. I dont' see how you can go wrong with Endless though. They're one of the most popular pads in Japan.

Yeh I ****en hate scrapage.... wash the area so you know really how bad it is. Then get some cut and polish and see how you go. Failing this you have to see whether its just paint lost or actualy damage to the plastic/fibreglass.... you can get it welded back then.

Drivebai - I doubt it dude..cos I don't think I can be farked taking the front bar off to put them in haha.. I MAY though if I have time. Boostmeister - not a problem. GTR's vent front the drivers side of the front bar and I have 2 BOV's

Panel One is the best in that area... you can go to any panel beater though right? doesn't need to be in the east.

No actually I'm contemplating sticking in a Blitz Power Meter ID in there. I just want to find out if its half a DIN cos the Power Meter is exactly that.

Does anyone know if the ashtray in an R33 GTR/GTS-T is a DIN size? Sorry if this has already been asked... swear i saw it somewhere.. ran a search and couldn't find anything.
