This agreement will be broken this year from what I understand. I believe the first car that will break it is Subaru's Impreza WRX S202 which is something like 220kw..... I'm not sure if STI is exempt from it as they are SORT OF an aftermarket tuner...But yeh sounds like bullshit ... theres no talk around Japan of a 3ltr S2000.. hmmm

To properly cleaned injectors they need to be pulsed and cleaned in an ultrasonic bath. They should be flow tested before and after. There was a topic before in NSW section before where a few guys got their injectors cleaned and it made a huge difference.... I'm gonna look into doing this soon.

In Japan brand new the FCon is more expensive than the powerFC. Although these two are the most popular ECU's here the FCon is still MORE popular than the PowerFC. Both Top Secret and Jun Auto use it for their tuning.... However they obvious can tune it here where as in Australia I guess no one can tune it from what I can see ni this thread.

I'm deciding between the PowerFC and the FConV Pro. At the moment and I am wondering if anyone knows of a place where I can get the FConV Pro tuned in Sydney.... I'm guessing BD4's can do it and Ed has also told me of someone who can but does anyone know who else can and how the FCon is interfaced whether its through a PC and if you need the software etc. btw I'm talking about the FConV Pro which is a replacement ECU not the piggyback FConS.

Frankster - When I first got my car serviced at Hills it didn't cost me much. In labour it was around $100 for around 2 hours which is average I'd say. I have bought the following stuff myself at that service or over time and as far as I can see its the main things you need: Engine Oil (Whatever flavour you like) Oil filter (Genuine Nissan) Fuel filter (Genuine Nissan) Brake Fluid (Motul Dot5) Gear/Diff Fluid (Nismo) Sparks (NGK) Long Life Radiator Coolant (whatever hills put in) As far as I can see these are most of your wearables. There are other small things you may need to replace everynow and then including some of the washers and there are routine maintenance things you may have to do like lubricate this and that. I'm not sure if $600 for that was a good deal however I guess you get fleet and also you get a pretty piece of paper that is usefull when it comes time to sell.

My car currently DOES NOT have a short shifter and my 2nd and 5th gear synchros are going anyway. The synchros dying are not a fault directly due to the short shifter but the way you drive.... if you're constantly shifting quickly then this is the cause of synchro wear. Of course if you have high mileage and a sports car then synchro wear will happen anyway. If you constantly shift hard and fast anyway it will f*ck your synchros. Getting a short shifter will just make it easier for you to shift.

I had two passes which were pretty ordinary. 13.2 ET with 2.1 60FT (I know I know....)........I don't think I'll have any more mods in the car by then so I hope to run a 12 in current trim. As long as I line up VISHES I'll be happy BWHAHA =)

Yep I went to the last one of 2002 with some of the guys. We should be all back at this one.... just a point... try to get there early I guess.
