I don't believe my lights are pointing up. All headlights from the 32 and 33 series have the entire fixture in an slightly angled up position but my xenons sit within a projector lamp which is a semi-sphere. So which way does a ball point?

Yep basically they check your car isn;t a number job, check the compliancer put the plates on and the VIN number if needed one. They do't really do any mecahnical checks that I'm aware of but they check some of the basic compliance work. I know 2 people that have passed it without having changed their tyres even .... if you've done compliance you'll be fine mate.

Yes all R32/33 GTR coolers are painted black stock. The 34's are polished however so are silver. Yes the front has been cleaned on that one. The black doesn't affect the cooling. Light damage on the cooler doesn't matter as long as most of it is in tact. The fins aren't as improtant as the tubes so make sure the tubes have no punctures. Mine is similar but has a few squashed fins.... will be u for sale soon if anyone is itnereted.

If i were to put in a new cooler. say which is 600x300x100 at LEAST. then would I get anymore lag? apart from maybe efficiency and a slight increase of power what would the effects be to lag and boost pressure? Cheers

Nah my car is right hand drive... I'm in Sydney dude The boost gauge is mounted on the steering column covering part of the speedo. I don't really care as it only covers 220km/hr - 320 which you won't see often in Australia anyway... I thought about it heaps where i was gona mount it. I didn't wanna get defected for the A-pillar and didn't want to drill. Anyway I'm happy with it.,

RS73 - I wanted to match my nismo white faced gauges to a boost gauge so I got the Trust one and yes they match.... almost identical. Have a look... Not to be rude but I think that the nismo dash is crystal clear at night and better than the standard gauges. ALso if you look at the pictures above even in the VERY BLURRED background image of the dash I can make out the numbers. I've had the nismo ones in pretty soon after I got the car and they are clearer than almost any other car. Like RS73 I didn't want green gauges and blue light cos it looks like a circus. As far as I know all nismo dashes for the R33 GTR are the same except for the white/black combos. And no the warning light does not come on because I believe its for the Active LSD (correct me if I'm wrong) which is only for the Vspec GTR.

Yes. Xenon is the gas that is emmitted. HID stands for High Intensity Discharge which is the same thing. HID kits from the big names usually cost shitloads (upwards of $1500/$2K) but you can get generic ones for around $700 and more like Merlis. I've seen Merlis and they are very good. If you've seen S2000 headlights i reckon they're similar but more wide.... Mine are standard on my car but if I got a car without them I'd do them SHITLOADS! If a car is driving in front of me with normal lights mine totally overpower his so you cant even see his beam. Although the downside is that everyone flashes you cos they think you have high beam on and your friends won't drive in front of you anymore.

My digi cam is f*cked so I can't take a photo. Basically if you look on the left side of your car above and to the left of the plenum there is like a little gold cylinder about 2cm x 4cm. This is the solenoid. There will be two vacuum hoses going to this. One that goes from the bottom of it and one that goes from the side. If you feel around and squeeze the hose within the first 10 cm of the one that comes from the side you'll feel a part which has a small metal bit. Thats what yoiu need to remove. Sorry this is the best descreiption I have of it. Thats right. Remove... done.
