Sorry I don't understand what you mean by the difference between ET and result here... the desired result of any quarter mile drag should be a low time. This is the ET.

Y0880 - On the GTR you can run up to 1.4 but not if you intend to keep your turbos for a long time. I'm running 1 bar and have been safely for a while now and I think anything between 1bar to 1.4 is risky with the standard ceramic wheel.... especially in summer. 71LLA: It is a small metalic ring that sits inside the vacuum hose on the way to the solenoid which restricts your car to the boost it runs stock. Hence the name You pull off the vacuum pipe, and get pliers or tweezers and pull it out and reattach the vacuum pipe. Alternatively cut the part the restrictor is in (you can feel it).. and reattach the pipe. The boost is not affected by the ECU here and there is no boost cut at this level... when you remove the restrcitor you get instant one bar boost.

Roy I don't quite understand what you're saying... on one hand you say.. which implies you're not interested in 1st gear or launching technique. but on the other hand you say: Which implies your preference is for good ET's. From my limited knowledge of the quartermile runs I'd have to say the that quarter mile encompasses not only a good launch but also strong throughout all gears and good top end. Anyway my point is that in order to get a good ET you need a damn good laucnh and a damn good first gear as well.

Yes I did read your post. I know you speak from experience and I don't. I also understand when the Endless website says "NA-R FOR TRACK USE ONLY" Fair enuf I'm sure they can be used for the road under light load and I'm sure your a conservative driver on the steer so the following point wouldn't affect you but the point I was making was in the circumstance the brakes are cold and you brake hard you may have a problem. Franks on this forum used to have a WRX with NA-M's. I remmber a time this happened to him when he had to brake hard and you can probably guess what happened. I'm not disputing what you say.... I'm saying that for regular everyday driving theres street pads .... and then theres high temp track pads.

NA-R's are 300-800. Depending on how your drive on the street I would say thats a TRACK ONLY pad for most of us. I would say the optimal street pad temp would be either the NA-Y to NA-M. I am gonna get a set of CC-X from Japan. These arren't generally sold here but its a track/street pad thats goes from 100-600. Do the Endless squeal?

Guys, Both my passes were identical although I did quite different launches. I ran a 13.2 ET with a 2.1 60 ft both times. I am not heaps happy about the results - just content I guess. I was expecting (maybe too much) to crack a high 12 second run. My terminal speed was 104 mph and 106 mph which iswhat I've been told is good enough for a high 12. Basically it comes down to the fact that my 60 ft times are shit! Kabab was telling me he gets the same 60ft in his R32 GTST so I've got to improve this. Anyway I'll be back @ the creek after I go to Japan and after I get my car tuned!! Make sure you guys who didn't come ... come next time..... This was the first time out at the creek for me and it was awesome fun. It's not as easy as it seems and its not a matter of mashing the pedal But it all was good fun.... well maybe not so much for Miz33t and Merli
