To install these generally it should be done on a dyno. So you're gonna need someone to do the wiring and get the adjustments right after they get your standard AF ratios .. usually on a dyno...sometimes they have other means.

To get a lease you either have to get it through your work or go to a leasing company like prosperion.

sebaz - I understand your problem. I'm 22 and SHOULD be a rating one since I have 2 other cars UNDER MY NAME on rating one but a particular insurance company would only give me 20%. In any case what I was going to say is that $3K for a $50K car isn't too bad. I'm considering the fact that some insurance companies have raised their risk bracket to be 30 and over. Especially being a sports car. I would have thought it would be similar to insure a lcoally delivered less "risky" car like a B4 or something like that.... I guess another way to look at it is if you DO like cars and you DO live in Sydney and you DO NOT intend to move then its simply part of the cost of living in Sydney...

Friend bought a Supra from them ages ago and it all went well and cars is excellent. Very expensive though. A while ago they got busted for something. I think it was dialing back all the speedos?? Can't remember.. but if its new owners then dunno

Hi guys, Does anyone have a custom boot install for an R33? I've got quite a few questions: 1) has anyone removed the spare and put the sub in there in fibre glass? 2) does anyone face the at the right side of the boot from the left side or vice versa and does this sound good? I'm in the North Shore. I can't remember the exact dimensions of the box but it takes up quite a fair bit of the R33 boot. I can take pics this weekend.

147@wheels is very respectable for the number of mods you have. I'm planning to get rid of my sub and get a lightweight one. I'll probably leave the seats in and unbolt them when I go for track days, drags etc.... It's easy enuf to increase power in a GTR so I'll probably jsut do that haha... my last dyno run was 150kw@all 4 wheels at C&V which is the same kind of dyno as Croydon. But that was with just an exhaust..... lets go for a cruise soon!!

LINUS - yeh I was talking to [Ken] (in the silver Supra) about it and we thought you were running more boost. Your filter and exhaust must enable you to run maybe 1-2 psi higher than standard which can often happen. I need to get rid of some weight haha.. R33 GTR's are heavy... might consider doing your style of weight reduction

PRICE REDUCED TO $200 Someone must want cheap subs. The box was custom made and the subs sound clear. Anyone in Sydney can see them working in a skyline to hear how they sound.

I like things that aren't overly modified and yours looks nice..... (plus nice weight reduction frm the seats).... I don't think theres much diff in the Vspec and non Vspec clearance of front bar. I'd be more worried about which series GTR you have because the diff series have slightly diff lips. Seires 1 - no lip (I think) Series 2 - small lip Series 3 - pretty big lip My GTR is series 3 and the suspension ride height is high so the skirts and rear are quite high (for a sports car) but my front bar is very low. There was one car park in the city which angles down and I couldn't make it down.... so i had to reverse in. But thats the ONLY case I've ever had.
