  1. A friend of mine has an R32 GTS-T with an SAFC and boost controller (Blitz DSBC) and he has run 1 bar boost for 1 year now without any problems and no front mount, just stock IC.
  2. Are you the web designer for this forum?? hehehe cheers no worries
  3. I've got an R33 GTR as a daily driver in Sydney. I don't find it harder than driving any other car everyday. Before this I had a manual Honda prelude and I'd have to say that the only thing thats worse about daily driving the GTR is that its not secure. But if you have a GTS-T then you'd have the same problem anyway. It's BS that ppl say it can't be a daily driver... the stock suspension isn't even THAT stiff and the clutch is not that hard either...
  4. Silver-Arrowz - I've bought a boost gauge from nengun. I guess I wanted to buy something small to test his service out first but it was good service and arrived promptly. Alternatively if you're on a budget you could get an R32 GTR ecu and retune it?
  5. no it sux.... my car is a friggin 15cm smudge!!!
  6. Silver-Arrowz - doesn't it depend which eCU you have. On my R33 GTR I'm quite sure its not tuneable. But yes the SAFC doesn't allow you to adjust ignition timing. I'm not aware of the the SAFC having a special setting for Z32 AFM. The AFM I thought simply takes in readings from the factory sensors for fuel and oxygen and adjusts then slightly.
  7. MRK25T - Yes DTM web address is here. As far as I know no one on DTM had a vid cam. But Franks has some footage.
  8. HAHAHAHA The BMW club (DTM) were cruising with me and Franks.... it went pretty hard. It was an M3 engine as well ... not the 2ltr engine... with a T03 high flowed. After the servo the BMW's were at the back then after lunch all the groups pretty much split up ...
  9. haha yeh... must say... pretty original
  10. Not saying Cos you'll think I'm a dumb ass hehe
  11. HUSTLR - couldn't figure out your plate for ages. hehehe and yeh post those pics dude
  12. Guys I had an awesome time today. No incidents and everyone seemed to have a good time. Me, Franks and the DTM guys headed off for lunch and ended up going back to Sydney around 3ish but yeh it was a good day. Sorry didn't get to talk to or meet most of the skylines guys but in case you don't know I was the one in the Silver R33 GTR leading the way in front of BY BY. In any case I think I know who most of you guys are now from your plates haha Anyway see u guys around sometime Cheers btw... can you guys please post your pics..
  13. I don't really like the Z4 much at all And I hear they will cost close to $100K as well. Don't be fooled by the figures .... my friend has a Z3 3ltr and its pretty damn slow despite the power figures... M engines are a totally different story. I have driven an E36 M3 and they're pretty damn quick and responsive... totally different to the Z3 3.0 engine. I've sat in an E46 while it was flying and that thing goes....
  14. this is from a sales website: The second generation Super AFC follows the highly successful Super AFC in an upgraded package. The Super AFC is a vehicle specific fuel computer that modifies the air flow meter signal/pressure sensor signal and allows the user to either richen or lean the fuel mixture. Adjustment ranges from +/-50%. The Super AFC boasts an 8 point adjustable fuel curve with 500 RPM increment setting points. The Super AFC also allows the user to adjust fuel enrichment according to either LO/HI throttle positions. The AFC also cures the erratic idle problems associated with open atmospheric blow off valves on hit wire air flow meter equipped vehicles. Monitor Mode shows analog meter faces, Y Graph Display, Numerical Display, Peak Hold, Replay Mode, 1 point/10 point and ghost map tracing. All correction factors are also displayed in percentages. All values and graphs are displayed through the exclusive VFD (Vacuum Florescent Display) screen
  15. Firstly I know we both already question his opinion having spent $50K+ on a Supra hehe dude but I think this is still relative to the fact its a GTR. And this is the first time I've ever heard of this. Worst by who's opinion? and worst judged on what? if you know what I mean....
  16. franks - meet at your place 10 then. Everyone else - see you at M5 or Xroads or whever the f*ck... haha I only know the north
  17. I'll come to yours then?? make your mind up woman!
  18. dude... I thought we're meeting up with some of the other skylines at Terry Hills. Thats pretty far for you though.... if you came to my place in the morning it'd be around 20-30 to Terry Hills then we'd go to Liverpool.... aternatively we can meet at the liverpool place wherever that is??
  19. no worries. Thanks for that. Cheers
  20. So if I'm getting onto Mona Vale road at Gordon heading towards Mona Vale.... how far up is it?
  21. Me, Franks and [Ken] might come along. Where abouts in Terry Hills is this and which way you headed? I've just heard of other meeting points as well.
  22. yeh happens to me a lot. It also depends on what pads you use cos some pads are just like that and you have to live with it.... It doesn't happen much anymore... mainly when the pads were newish.. once given some good braking abuse they went away.. I noticed that happening when I wash my car too... dunno why
  23. Yes it does seem reasonable if that includes parts.
  24. well thats generally probably the case but for something like an oil filter thats only gonna cost you $30 or so.. (can't remember) you're only gonna get a $5 discount at most going somewhere else. Alternatively I think you can get a bosch one or something??
  25. I bought mine at the local Nissan service centre. I don't have the box here otherwise I'd tell you the part number but i think Nissan can help.
