Cusco is cheap :shake:
But seriously.. I think the reason the air/oil isn't fully seperated is at that high temp its still slightly gaseous... hence you still will have a bit of oil in it...
Ed... apparently not.... according to Scott who has a Cusco oil catch the air coming out is still relatively dirty.... Merli says the same thing.
I'd say the main purpose of the catch can would be to prevent the oil from going into the inlet after a HARD run... when you pop the hood of a car with a filter on their oil catch... if it were so clean why would it be steaming out crap?
okay guys thanks for the info.
Yep it is a defect... there are two other options...
1) Leave the car spewing oil back into the inlet
2) Let it vent oily gas all over your engine..
I know what i prefer
GTRRRR - I'd hope so
Alright now I'm jsut fooken confused... hahaha...
1) Is it on tomorrow still or is it on the 16th....?
2) When/where is the meeting point?
Bought this about a month ago but want money for my suspension now. It is brand new in box and has all necessary parts. As it is a GTR kit it has two BOV's.
- An aluminum diecast part ensures a super lightweight & compact body.
- The air capacity of the air chamber increases by having air jackets all around the cylinder valve.
- A large opening nozzle improves air discharge efficiency, and facilitate the tuning of the intoxicating & addictive blow-off sound.
- R2D2's air sealing reliability is tremendously improved by integrating the valve & the shaft design. This design also make the part more compact & lightweight which also equates to a more affordable price.
$500 in Sydney.
Just like this but with two BOV's.
I used Motul.. dunno which grade. I think that Mobil 1 is fine cos a lot of my friends run it and Motul is also fine....
but i think whats important is that you change the oil regularly.. this is more important than buying an engine oil thats realy good and not changing it when needed.
I don't know what the "standard stuff" is.... some people recommend castrol brake fluid and stuff like that.
I use Motul DOT 5.1 fluid.... you can get higher still by getting HKS which is like $100 a litre hehe
Oh yeh I totally agree I'm jsut saying that cannonball runs come from the orignal cross Australia run and now the US have the gumball 3000 which is basically straight road high speeds........... this is pure just power!!
I await this day BWHAHAHA!!! MIZ33T gets more crazy
Thats what Moanie thought too ... then i had her saying "I wasn't ready... I wasn't ready!!" hahaha
I dunno if canonball runs have much to do with ATESSA but more with big hairdryers haha
Seeing as I can't make it to Dawn run next week I might have to do a a extra early Kanga run with you guys... so who's going?
NRVOUS, GTRRRR, MIZ33T.....damnit I'm gonna be the slowest one haha
Also is it a windy drive or a high speed drive?
Also when we were doing a friends powerFC... it was showing check engine light and giving all sorts of hassles until we disabled the Electronic boost control option.... dunno if this helps
