  1. i finally did this on the weekend after rigorous testing i found that when your tyres are cold.. even if you take off slowly and then hit WOT, you still loose traction.. i have almost new tyres as well.. so im happy..
  2. im no expert but i think you would need abit thicker oil than the turbo models....
  3. rusty water going through the block is not a good idea. it can lead to jets being blocked etc. just dump it and refill will quality fluid.
  4. could it be electrical? something shorting... maybe check in the engine bay at night.. could be shorting making ur hicas light flash?
  5. y dont u start off with replacing he IAC valve and then reset ecu
  6. nahh mate.. you need to reset your ecu... with auto's there is a different reset method.. to set the shift points and idle etc... you may have to look it up.
  7. check the fluid in the battery mate. its only like $3 to top up. then take it for a spin for about 20 min.. Should be fine after that unless you have to many dead cells in the battery
  8. if its all working fine.. y change the battery good work mate
  9. question for a mate.. is there a type m front lip?
  10. if you have enough charge to crank then its not your battery.. your battery should be fine there is an incorrect wire going to your climate and clock. check your fuses as well i guess... im assuming its similiar to a HU, a acc wire and a 12v+ . if you connect both to the ACC it will work but once your turn off your car it resets everything. if i were u id make sure i hooked up everything properly and check fuses. if worse comes to worst take it to a auto sparkie, they will charge for about an hour but it will be fixed
  11. its not sealed. there is a drainage hose for the gases and dribbles. You can still check the fluid levels. well i still have the original battery i think i had the same prob. just spent 3 bucks and ive never had a flat battery since
  12. mate check the battery fluid.. if its low it doesnt hold the charge for very long. put ur old wires back as they are. it seems that your equip is not holding the 12v cable, instead it is running off the ignition....
  13. x2! same thing happens on my old mans falcon.. after the reset it works normal.
  14. u sure is 5psi? or 0.5 bar? im still running the stock solenoid but i noticed i pull about 0.5 bar when running high rpm. i think thats about 9psi or so.
  15. one oil change is enough.. there is a reason for a new oil filter.
  16. you could have just taken out each fuse and checked for a blown one?
  17. 2 words.. JUST JAP for cheap good fmic
  18. Sorry to hijack, but wouldnt having a good FMIC cool down the air?
  19. could also be your computer. one of my close friends car was running like yours, he reset his computer and it started working fine again.
  20. Hey guyz, My dads rear spoiler was stolen of his BMW, it was the drift type , there is alot of glue residue on there making it look so bad! any idea how to get it off? i dont want to sand it down because that will mean a respray. the glue is not really rock solid but not soft like "gap filler" we tried turps and metho to take it off but its still stuck on. Any suggestions? Avi
