I got a R33 Auto too... it is a beast... with mods... aftermarket ECU, fuel pump etc... it is a monster... for sure... don't feel down for having an auto...straight down the line... Auto's own...
Although I absolutely adore and love my Skyline to bits... I have to say, if the R33 had a 3.0 litre VTEC-alike engine in it... damn... a new monster would be born... I kinda miss the VTEC yo! LOL
Hi guys,
Just wanted to hear your thoughts on this... I used to own a Honda Accord VTEC 3.0 ... it came with a supercharger (not sure which one) but it went... the roar of the V6 VTEC engine would send shivers down anyone's spine... now that I drive a R33 beast... it too has power but if the two would be pinned side-by-side in a quatermile sprint...which would win do you think?
I noticed that with Skylines (Turbos of course)... it has highend power and no so much lowerend and the opposite can be said for VTEC Honda's... is there a way a Skyline can be tuned to have high power in the lower RPM ranges? Is there so controller or piggyback ECU that can adjust this or is this just how a RB is designed?
Thanks in advance...
My car is currently wingless too... looks plush and elegant but less sporty...
what you do is get it welded like I did, then go to Supercheap Auto - buy a matching (best suited) spraycan then spray it... then get it waxed... should look ok... have it wingless, don't get a ugly-arse stealth wing... makes it look more pussy...
Good luck mate...
I take some pics soon and will share it with you.
IT should be your oil light... correct if I'm wrong as the pi is quite small... it should show that there's something wrong with your engine's oil...
I'm pretty sure...
would get it checked out if it's always showing you this... if not this, might be your radiator light?
Just for the record.. I do own a R33 - I did much research before deciding on a R33 - as I like R33's best... however, I also love the R34... with a nice kit, the eletric blue R34 GT-R - drool.......... hot... but in general, I personally like the R33 best...
Thanks all...
It sound as if the fuel injector are either pumping too little or too much petrol... I would check the fuel pumps... I had this problem before... changed fuel pumps and it runds fine now... also, remember to use high octane petrol... if you running anything but high octane petrol it will hinder performance heaps...
good luck bro... try this and then tell me how you go...
The question bro, is have you stopped for a second to think that the dude actually meant it... let's face it, for the coppers, the car is not too bad... I mean, it's not bad... quite nice... but I would say SUPERCAR... damn yo!
