Hi guys, As some of you may know, my car got defected the other week... I am now after another spoiler as the GT one that I got was illegal according the cops... long story short... I am have a nice looking wing for my ride... but my budget is limited... can only afford something for around $150.00 max - but it has to be black as my ride is black... if you have any old second-hand wings lying around, please let me know ... Mate, No, never... cruise control is more for a luxury vehicle... a family car etc... sports cars don't normally come with this feature...but it can be installed... it would cost around $1,600 or so... Why - you thinking of getting it installed?

I have an Automatic... I chosen it as a preference as Auto's launch just as good as Manual if you know how... and in a straight line (with good mods), Autos will beat Manuals... HEre's what you do... OVER DRIVE OFF, POWER BUTTOM PRESSSED, MAke sure you are running High Octane fuel (I personally like BP'S ULTIMATE)... Put it on DRIVE... Hold the BRAKE... REV TO AROUND 3,000 RPM's... LEt go of the BRAKE, step on it until around 4,000 RPM's and then pull it back to 2nd Gear to maintain the REV's at around 5-6,000 RPM's... then you just hold on it and pull it back just before you redline it... this is pushing the car to it's full potential.. most races are quater mile... do the above right and you will OWN....

I guess the above, alike your suggestions, would probably be the only thing I could do... moreover, yeah, I should have checked the regulations first before modding my car... this should be a good lesson for us all... I have exactly the same car as yours... I actually specifically wanted a turbo Auto as I'm fan of the 1/4 mile and like the way auto Skylines fly... damn fast... ok now... if you want to race in an auto... you have to do it the right way to maintain the revs at the higher RPMS... This is what I do.... leave it on D - rev it all the way up to around 3,000 rpm's (with overdrive turned off)... then quickly kick it down to second gear... then you'll find that you'll maintain the car at the higher 4,000 - 5,000 RPM range quite well... Also, there's a POWER button in the centre console...kick the down too... it should give you a bit of a kick in... I changed my fuel pump so being auto it reacts really well... damn fast... if you still expeience the sluggish performance... I'd bring it to a mechanic and get it checked out asap. Good luck bro.

not sure what you already got so the following are the fundamental mods that most people get... 1. Pod air filter... recommend Blitz 4000 superblow. 2. Full cat-back exhaust - 3.5 inch HKS perhaps?. 3. Boost Controller - recommend eletronic one. 4. Front Mounted intercooler - HKS or Blitz brand or Hybrid etc. 5. Change driving lights - HID perhaps? 6. Get a nice DVD/CD/MP3 Deck/Screen combo - Pioneer perhaps? 7. Get some subs, tweeters / speakers? 8. Blow-Off Valve for good turbo airflow + sound? GFB or HKS? 9. Nice set of 18 inch or over mags... can't spare the cash here... the mags do justice to your ride. 10. And finally..... a nice bodykit... this is option and totally personally. That's all I can think of that are 'standard' mods - well, those are my mods anyways... Good luck mate... SKY

Note sure if all Skylines are the same bro... but from my personal experience, you have to remove to pivotal bolts that are bolted from the bottom up that secures the waterpump... then you have to kinda twist it to the side a bit when taking it out... not sure if mine was tampered with but that's how I got it removed so that I could change other things... Good luck - pictures would be good.

I can get a mate of mine to make it custom... if you provide the exact measurements and also provide a graphic image sample of what you want made... this guy can make it for you... will cost around $45.00 but done very nicely.... PM me if you need help

no issues if you got it services recently.... no worries at all... only thing is to cane it too hard - if you push the turbo to it's limit (which it doesn't sound like you will) then it should be fine... try to get a 10 minute break every 200 kms or something... good luck.

No probs mate... we're here for ya.. Look at it this way... if you sped or something and ended up as a Easter holiday statistic on National Nine News... I'd guarantee you would be happy to work for free for the next 10 years or something... I'm Asian, as you know we believe in karma... you've had this done to you so that you can avoid other mishaps... it's only money bro... money can be made, re-made and then re-made again... happiness, life itself and other things important to you cannot be replaced... and as for those that did this, don't worry, they will get what comes there way... life is a cycle of events and events-had-be... chin up bro... I think you should get some really good quotes - get atleast 2-3 quotes from wreckers, sell your car and then save up for another Skyline if you really enjoy them... the next time, be more careful, park your ride inside your yard... etc... no one is perfect... it's life, not meant to be all bubly and rosey...
