If you replace with the DEFI unit 3 din cluster, for a 32 GTR, are they electronic still? as I know a guy who had one put in and it didn't need the control unit like the bigger gauges I'm just looking at replacing the std GTR cluster with one of these DEFI ones. they look so cool!!! http://www.defi-shop.com/product/din/din_top.html mark

front left higher than front right???
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Mr GTS4's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
nah man. and the car got sold in may. it was like 200 or something for it. u in sydney? got it done at straight torque suspension in blacktown. but any good suspension place should be able to help you out mark -
I know it wasn't in the equation, but why haven't you thought of the Evo VIII? or a VII for that fact, they are now legal I think I've read somewhere mark

for me, GTR! all the way, no comprimise, for me the subaru would be second best I'm just lucky enough to have bought an 89 R32 with a few bits and peices. but man If I had that much money R34 all the way see the review in one of the older SPEED magazines, R34 VS WRX STI VS EVO VII all with light mods. the AWD Evo and WRX held on better on the twisty's but hit a straight section and the blistering acceleration of the GTR killed them both. I have nothing against subaru, I love them. but have you considered an Evo man? that would be my next choice after the GTR. mark

Warning about people with intercoolers
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to bangahh's topic in General Automotive Discussion
F%@$%&%@#$ can we start a petition about that man, sounds good. I didn't think middle eastern countries had much going for them in that respect, but hey I like that law man. Although it should go something to the tune of punishments in the order of offences first time, prison instantly, no good behavior shite here Second time, Beating from the person you stole from Third time, Appendiges being cut off mark -
front left higher than front right???
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Mr GTS4's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I'm not sure if this is the same sort of problem, but mine was weird but when I had the std suspension taken out of my 32 GTST it was leaning to the right. put new shocks and springs in, made the height adjustment and it still didn't help In the end the guy had to have a custom bracket made up to bring the right side up to the height as the left mark -
1 dent and some paint could add to over 500 easily on a GTR. could you win if you threatened court action. cause I have pics of the car before it left japan, and if it turns up with scratches and dents, god help me I will strike someone down over it. I love my cars, but carelessness with them should be punished I say mark (mine is on the prince which is in brissie today. jspec said they handle everything to get it shipped to my door. no cost to me from memory)

TEIN NA Coilovers
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Mr R32 M-Spec's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I thought all tein coilovers were green? I know they will be firm, why I bought them. I had Koni Adjustables in my 32GTST but they were a bit soft(springs) I think mark -
mine was a bit like that too and I had, filter, full 3" exhaust, FMIC,1.0Bar boost etc... I think its just the engines nature man take it out to the track for the day and have a chance to run around without breaking the law and get used to the car would be my advice. I did everytime I added some mods and it helped mark

Mr R32 M-Spec replied to davidl's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
For the GTR you can get a pretty cool one from autosport at kirrawee It sits ontop of the engine and connects using all of the stock hoses to plumb back through making it Legal. I bought one for mine thats here next week. link below http://www.autosport.net.au/oilcatch.htm polishes up nicely with some autosol -
Ok guys, reguarding the shipping on the prince, I have emailed Seaway this morning who handle the shipping details I got this response to questioning about the Prince's delays The vessel is delayed and is due Brisbane around 19 Jan. Unfortunately we have no control over weather conditions in the Pacific Ocean, nor Berth Congestion at both load and discharge Ports which have effected this vessel and many more DAMN!

Turbo XS Dual stage Boost controller fitted and set for 11PSI on low, 15PSI on high. Bosch 550HP fuel pump has been fitted as it was leaning out on the standard one. HKS FMIC Kit bought from japan brand new and fitted. Front bar modified to fit. Suspension & Braking: Koni Adjustable Shocks and Lowered springs fitted, Height and Damper adjustable 24MM Front sway bar & 22MM rear sway bar with new D-bushes fitted, and new pin bushes New Radius Rod bushes fitted and Full Alignment done Front and Rear DBA 4000 Series brake rotors fitted with Bendix advance pads (last few months) Motul 600 racing brake fluid Calipers painted RED New 17" Work Ryver Wheels fitted, Purchased BRAND NEW. tyres are in good condition. Wheels are, Rear - 9" wide, Front - 8" wide Interior: Momo steering wheel and boss kit & Nismo aluminum gear knob Recaro Drivers seat, decent condition (also includes immaculate std drivers seat as is passengers immaculate) CRD seat covers used all times Pioneer CD player (entry level deck) Boston Acoustic Front 6 an a 1/2" speakers Pioneer 6 an a 1/2" rear speakers Alpine V-series AMP running all 4 speakers. 350WATT AMP Greddy 52mm Boost gauge (reads to 1.5bar) MISC: Rear Guards Lipped to suit wider wheels Philips 4300K light globes fitted 10% dark tint on all windows except front -
I had Seaway call me yesterday afternoon (my dad rang me and said "someone from SeaWorld just called about your coming in, I thought that was a resort?") They said the ship will arrive on saturday and who was my customs agent, I just told them to see Gareth/Ben at jspec as they are handling it cheers mark

Where to import from
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to wahick's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
I used jspec and were quite happy with the service, they're all great guys down there I got a 32GTR through them which should be here next week. Although depending on what your after, I have noticed there are alot of cars for sale at good prices. I know I felt ripped when I sold my R32 GTST in may, the guy got a good deal for what I had spent. Maybe it would be easier to just purchase one here already? cheers mark
