R32 GTR exhaust?
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Mr R32 M-Spec's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
I am saving for that too. the car is getting a full overhaul when it gets here at the compliance place. just wanted to check. I have been quoted $1600 inc GST for a 3" mandrel bent system from the turbos with a cannon at the end. -
hey guys I have found one at auctions and it should be here in november. but it is a complete stocker. first thing I want mod wise is an exhaust. how much should one cost? do I need to do the dump pipes or are standard ok and just from the front pipe back is needed? cheers

Is it just me or is the market for selling a skyline really crap?
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Bleach1's topic in New South Wales
It took me 3 and a bit weeks to sell my 32GTST. longer then I thought but I had to settle for less then what I wanted. i lost a lot of money but I noticed that imports are harder to sell. I have no plans to sell my next for a long while. so I only have to sell the dato for a few hundred bucks which should be easy when the next one comes in later this yr, good runabout -
Your a very lucky man Rezz. I think I would swap lives with you in a heart beat. and your exactly right, having a good time and showing them aussie hospitatlity would have been the best part of the trip. but there all pretty hot so that doesn't hurt did you bring them to sydney?
-
I just sold my modded 93 GTST Type M. I lost money big time but I have the goal in sight, a 1989 GTR from Japan. still searching at the moment. have missd out on 3 so far. hope to find one this week. but then its a damn long wait. I'm driving a 1979 Dato wagon at the moment. I work damn hard for what I have and just hope that no one ever says you dont deserve it. Have you ever had someone say to you or heard them say you don't deserve that car? just interested thats all. I have seen some nice cars with wreckless drivers and i have thought that. cheer mark

so is everyone having problems with 32's or is it 33's? I have asked just jap and they are going to do the engineering/compliance on the 89 GTR I am still looking for and they said max 2weeks they will have it. I'm playing it safew and getting everything done like a major overhaul, timing belt, water pump, gear box oil, brake flush..... I don't want anything to happen to it. -
Extended Delays in Compliancing
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to awurth's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I am looking for GTR now. I hope I don't have much trouble. its going to be an 89 or 90. I had to put my plates in storage yesterday when I sold my car and have come to the realisation "GOVERNMENTS HATE TREES!" the amount of paperwork it takes to import a car is bad. the guy said I have to show him a hell of alot of paperwork to get one of "those" registered and to get my plates for it. I say less paperwork more driving. mark -

bump sorry guys, have been in QLD for a week. still for sale -
I don't know you, or your driving habbits. but I don't think a Nissan patrol (4WD, tank land cruiser looking thing I'm assuming) is anything like a GTR, no comparrison. I am looking at getting a GTR at the end of the year and I am almost 22, me at 17 in a GTR, wouldn't have ended well. I have had a quote from just cars with a 50% no claim on full comp, 6 point immobiliser alarm, near stock, 89 model GTR. garaged overnight, no claims or acco's on my history and a secure car park during the day. They asked for the princely sum of, da da da da.... $4K a year. stuff that. I'm 22 mate, with a good record, I would be too scared to ask how much even for third party. maybe you should just try a GTST first and get used to it, then move on later to the GTR. cheers mark

I will send out the pics tommorow and try and put some up tonight just to mention, the car has an alarm system, but will not be included in the sale price unless the person wishes to pay extra for it as it was expensive, I will be taking it with me to the next car unless the person wishes to keep it, i will give at a discounted price. I don't wish to mention the name of it on the net, but it is one of the best to buy Also forgot to mention, Front tower strut brace in the suspension parts. cheers mark -
