What are my alternatives to Nengun?
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to MRK25T's topic in General Automotive Discussion
Thats cool. I have heard from Brent that because it is a yahoo account that it overflows some of his emails into the spam folder. If I don't hear from him I gennerally send it again. maybe try PMing him, he is on the forum. I think he can get second hand stuff. he quoted me $1200 for second hand cusco coilovers for my Bro's 180sx. I am going to order the PowerFC and Blitz boost controller for my car off him sometime in the new year. the prices are unbelieveable. -
What are my alternatives to Nengun?
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to MRK25T's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I would go with nengun, he is very quick at getting the parts to you. I had my HKS FMIC within 5 days of ordering and that was including the weekend. I ordered something very small from greenline and it took over 2 weeks to arrive. good service but just took awhile. not sure but I think its www.greenline.jp -
F.S. GARRET 500HP Turbo. T3/4
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Mr R32 M-Spec's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Alright guys. Looks like no one wants to pay as much as I am asking for this turbo. I am suffering the consequenes for buying something I knew nothing about. I am not thinking about upgrading the turbo no this car till next year atleast (paying it off first). make some offers but I would like to see them on the other side of $600. if out of state you pay the shipping thanx guys -
I agree thourghly with you, keeping us from killing ourselves is one of there biggest priorities. But some of them go out of there way to pull you up. I have driven past an RBT unit before (3 lane rd) and the guy saw me coming and couldn't wave the batton fast enough to get me in! On valentines day, on my way home to get changed, I saw more cops than on the whole long weekend blitz in my area. They pulled me over after following me for a while, went over my engine bay (I was being upfront and honest without a sarcastic tone) and he tried to do me for a BOV when it was the factory nissan item! then as he is letting me go after the debate he pops his head in my car door and gives it a boot full. NOT EVEN I REV MY CAR THAT HARD AT IDOL! so not all of them are serving the public the way they should be

I think thats funny. I spoke to a cop the other day at the GTIR track day meetup, won't say names. he told us someone has to really push him hard to defect them, like run there mouth off, otherwise he would let them go. but when I asked which was his, it was the black GTIR with heaps of mods and 180KW at all 4 wheels! classic, he said that he could use his car for work but doesn't think its right to trap people like that. that is the best cop I have ever met

fuel economy (or rather lack of)
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Pekatu's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I can get 440 KM's to a tank most weeks on my R32. I tend not to drive hard too often as it is annoying in traffic to have to slow down. I have a FMIC, Exhaust, Air filter, fuel pump, boost controller. -
I think it spikes to 15-16PSI then bleeds back to 14PSI after a sec
-
I have 3" cat, 3" exhaust, FMIC, Air Filter, Bosch Fuel Pump. Turbo XS duel stage. runs ok on low boost, I have 140.1 RWKW on low and 158.8 RWKW on high.

Phantom Skyline 2. Speedy speed boy 3. Take me to the top 4. No one sleeps in tokyo 5. X gonna give it to ya (DMX) -
Fitting Front/Rear Swaybars to an R32 GTS-T
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Mr R32 M-Spec's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I don't mind oversteer, I think Roy here has his set at the same and he said it isn't too bad, maybe it isn't as bad on the R32. The R33 is a bit bigger and heavier... -

Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Mr R32 M-Spec's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
sorry, I bought it for $1200.00 won't sell and less then $1050, never used since purchase. If I don't get what I want, then why lose all the money? I will just use it myself or a mate has made offers for his 180sx -

F.S. GARRET 500HP Turbo. T3/4
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Mr R32 M-Spec's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
I will try and take some better pics tonight or tommorow. my dad has just bought the camera back from his trip and the others were from a video capture. I was told when I bought it, that it was a T3 flange, but I have seen a mechanic and he said I would need a custom manifold to fit it, maybe because it won't mount in the standard position, too big. I am setting my car up for track work, so this turbo is too big for me, I was looking to get a High flowed R33 turbo from just jap. -

bump bump bump -
That is the problem, but that it costs a bit too. I don't mind the cost but don't always have the money t go blow $50 on EC all the time, and like you said the wait time is ridiculous. Although I don't think it is likely to have solutions to street racing anytime soon, they defect and fine alot of people through these things I hear. How ELSE will they raise revenue if they stopped them racing on the street!:shake:

Whenever I read articles like this its always "nissans' that cop it from the media. I think holden and for run the newspapers! my mate had an acco that wasn't his fault, he was driving a black S15. The newspapers said "High Powered Nissan sports car". it was stock. though it was interesting they forgot to mention the 50 year old guy driving the brand new looking Volvo 5 cylinder turbo.
-
I must admit, I have been to these things a few times, I have enjoyed them, I even raced once against better judgement. guy in the silvia was a toss that needed a lesson. However, saying that, I prefer actual driving and try to stay away from these things now as it brings attention that isn't needed to the import crowd. that is near my dads work so I will ask him about it tonight.

thought so, but when I went for a test drive in an R32 GTS4, turbo manual, it had blue badges. might have had the other ones replaced or somthing

Drift Competition's rules, who knows???
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to AkEaKe's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
I think this site has the rules used in the USA which should be like japan anyways Drift Rules check it out, the site is pretty cool too -
I was just wondering about that, on my Type GTST, I have a Maroon and white badge, but I have seen the blue and white badge too. Can anyone shed light on this? this doesn't mean N/A for blue does it?

Fitting Front/Rear Swaybars to an R32 GTS-T
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Mr R32 M-Spec's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I have ordered custom swaybars from wholesale suspension in penrith, the kit inlcudes bushes and washers etc... the Front is 24mm the rear is 22mm that with the current suspension should make it quite the formidable handler
