Race History of GODZILLA.
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to user's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
loved the read but was dissappointed with Holden & Fords attitudes towards things there. would have been interesting to see how it would have panned out if the GTR an Sierra were still in there. V8's would need to do something a bit better -
D1 Grand Prix - Proffessional drift
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Element's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
I have seen a corvete drift, he was pretty good. but then the 180sx that came after him put on a better show, all about skill level and practice -
D1 Grand Prix - Proffessional drift
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Element's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
Jap drifters are the best, I have seen a couple of good aussie drifters and one of them is Denso from japanese motorsports. Get some of the HPI DVD's and they have a drift section on each dvd, #5 & 6 are pretty good. -
CAMS and drifting, drift is cool now?
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to FIL's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
could be done, would be something I would actually like to watch however I think Ford and holden might winge about it, bathurst being the home of the V8's and all. might have to get some of those D1 drivers out from japan for a display -
its alright richard. spoke to him last night (andy) and he is coming down in his white 180 beast. not actually driving on the track though, doesn't have the money to replace anything that breaks at the moment. he is gonna do my camera work for me. so meeting time on the tuesday morning? where? Time? and leaving time from meeting point. also I find on a long cruise CB's make it interesting so if you got them please feel free to bring them

Some pics of Jap modded cars 4 u
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to BOOSTMEISTER's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I think the weight was due to the fact it had almost every electronic device that mitsubishi could find packed into it! nice car though, wouldn't mind one, but a GTR would be my first choice -
Fitting Front/Rear Swaybars to an R32 GTS-T
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Mr R32 M-Spec's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I asked whiteline and they said $190.00 for each non adjustable sway bar. and over $220 for the adjustable ones. I just don't want to pay extra for something i won't use. but they are fairly easy are they? it won't be on a hoist though, more than likely on jacks or stands -
Does anyone know how to fit Front & Rear Sway bars to an R32 GTST. I am going to buy some so I can be ready for the Track day coming up and was going to fit them with my friend. Is it fairly easy? or is it going to be one of those things that should be best left to a workshop, I don't mind paying for the labour but I would rather do it myself and have a learning experience. cheers guys. if anyone has pics with instructions that would be great, i was going to buy the whiteline non -adjustable swaybars. also does anyone know if they come with new bushes or you have to buy them?

Look a skyline, another, another! another?
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Staunch's topic in New South Wales
I would simply have to say R33. I see heaps of those and barely any R32's. There are 3 R33's in my work car park, only 1 R32 (ME ) i guess there popular because they are cheap but not as old as the R32 -

Buying Stuff From Nengun Or Greenline!!!!!!!
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to GTB055's topic in General Automotive Discussion
bought my cooler from nengun, awesome service, great prices. just buying something from greenline, waiting for it now -
My friend has a 180sx 2L turbo. he put his on the dyno the other day at CRD and was dissapointed that it wouldn't hold boost either, he has a FMIC, dual stage boost controller, bosch fuel pump, filter exhaust... CRD put it down the the fact that no matter how high they boosted it, it wouldn't hold the boost because there was a loose spring in the turbo that was soft. so his spikes to 17PSI but drops straight off to 12PSI or so. only makes 153.4KW at the wheels. it should be making more, he is going to change the turbo. sorry to ramble, just thought if you had a stock turbo that might be the problem

Don't think so, you would need to get an adapter or new manifold which has its advantages. but i don't think so -
Squeaking Noise from Clutch???
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to rmahawaii's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
mine also makes the sqeaking sound, sounds like it is coming from the pedal itself, I have WD40'd it once, tiny spray. it stopped it for a while and now it is back again. it is from inside the car itself. doesn't sound like outside to me. -
I was in the same boat, even though I had purchased the HKS Kit for the R32 GTST, I have no technical skills at all. got a mate who knows what he is doing and we knocked it over on a saturday arvo. cut 1 hole and it looks sweet as. HKS kit fits with no modification bar that 1 hole we had to cut, although I should mention there was already a dotted line in the chasie where a pipe should go... guess the GTR's and GTS's share a few similarities didn't have to cut the support bar or bumper though, fit straight on. cost me $1300.00 delivered to me. we cut out the front bumper and put mesh in it though, for more of a sporty look :D

Look a skyline, another, another! another?
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Staunch's topic in New South Wales
I have a skyline GTST. love it, I don't care if I roll up to a cruise and there are 4 more line mine there, cause we mod differently and am happy just to talk to them about there cars and how they go. I went to a bathurst cruise not long ago and i saw 10 or more R33's, I was the only R32 there full stop!. loved it, so obviously some models are more popular than others. They are great cars and like Tony said, there is a great community of skyline lovers around australia. so who cares if there more common then a commodore, I spoke to a guy who had an R33 there the other night, he said he sold his VS SS commodore to get it, so it just proves how much more Popular they are. not selling my skyline for anything short of a GTR -

R32 GTST Headlight Globes & What Brake fluid to Use?
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Mr R32 M-Spec's topic in General Maintenance
help, anyone? -
Hi, one of my globes just went in my car and was wondering are they the H1 style globes or something else. '93 GTST. I have a set of H1 phillips globes at home that I can put in if they are the same style. Also I am bleeding my brakes out and refilling the fluid on saturday so to prepare for the track day coming up. what sort of brake fluid should I use as I have never had to top it up or refill it before cheers mark
