that was my conclusion to blitz. I don't hate V8's like the guys at work think I do. but I just think this little tosser is stupid. he is calling us things that just aren't realistic. 1 - "turbo 4's go fast". skylines are 6 cylinders! 2 - "even thinking about stuffing with the handling, not that it will be needed, I imagine the lead gained on the straights should be enough to win the race." maybe, but if the skyline has the same power, or even just less. I think you would have to do the suspension or come to a complete stop before the first major corner(that or die trying to turn the ba5tard). Its not only about power though, I found this out at wakefield park. I got my but handed to me by a Clio, the driver was awesome:) 3 - "the battle between the traditionalists and the ricers". I can only say no rice here mate, skylines are hardcore performance cars 4 - "all I need is a Skyline driver who sin't afraid to do voer 160-180mph". All I need to say is you probably dont' have the brains to upgrade the brakes so see you at the funeral moron

nah merli, this guy isn't FROM FF. he found the post on another forum he wouldn't say and quoted it like I did. they agree with us:)

going past a wrecker on the way home to find a generic handle to fit
-
I found this on the fast fours site, one of the guys there found it and wouldn't say which forum it was off. maybe someone on here has seen it before. Quote: I issue a challenge to a Skyline owner, 1 race on a quarter mile, and 1 race on a proper track, no conditions, any transmission you want, in 4 years time, so some young Syline fanatic can build up their "brute machine" whilst I build mine. I don't know wheather to use my Torana as it weighs 1180kg or use a VK Commodore, I am leaning towards the torry because a: I already have it and b: it don't weigh jack shit. So if any young ricer out there wants to stand up for their honour now is your chance, you'll have 4 years to sink some $$ into your car, I know I'll be doing the same. I know these turbo'd 4's go, but I bet they cant do what a Supercharged, NOS equipped 454 can, I am even thinking about stuffing with the handling, not that it will be needed, I imagine the lead gained on the straights should be enough to win the race. I await a Skyline driving challenger, and remember, not even 500kw at the rears/all wheels can help you here, you are going to find out the bigger is better and that over 1000hp cant be matched by your 4 cylinder modern technology. Torana Vs Skyline, the battle between the traditionalists and the ricers, 2006-2007, pencil it in and don't forget, all I need is a Skyline driver who sin't afraid to do voer 160-180mph :shake: that is probably what I would like to do to him no I have been arguing with the guys at work unsuccessfully here. can anyone help me out with arguments I can use to win. what is the fastest skyline in the work that is actually a skyline, not just a shell built to look like one with the motor:(

Premier State Rally Special Stage, 6pm 4/7/03, Eastern creek
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to red900ss's topic in Events Archive
ok, so where are we meeting and what time? also does anyone know what the cost of this event is for spectators? I think a couple of my mates are coming down to watch aswell. so lets get organised guys, only 4 days to go:D -
I'm so glad that your mate got it back. however I'm not sure of what he was thinking? buying a car like that and leaving it parked on the street with no alarm or insurance. now that he has it back I think one of the first things should be looking at a good alarm system. that was the first thing I did with my car, it didn't get driven for the first week of me having it without getting the alarm:)

I was gonna do the advanced and basic driver training with his school can people suggest any others that do performance driver training then?

I am getting it on the way home tonight, but I have played the demo on both levels as Bruce Banner & the HULK. I thought the graphics were pretty good, the detail was great and the ability to smash your environment around you was awesome. as banner though, you sort of just have to avoid the guards and not get angry or thats game over. smashing things up as the hulk was pretty good but like spiderman I think I really only like it for the fact that i am a comic book lover, especially those 2 characters

Takumi! I wish I could drive like that though

I enjoyed the meetup and getting to meet some of the guys like mark, neil, scott and dan... We ended up getting back home around 6:30pm that night after spending the arvo in the little town of bathurst. I heard something about a WRX (white one with P's on it) getting defected but I think that was the only intervention. I would like to thank Dan for his insights on the way up and his help with Overtaking (will consider carefully next time before doing it!) so where is this Taranar drive? -

Can't wait. I have my camera's ready to go for te day. paticularly the skyline meeting point! see ya's there guys -
I have an Odysee (Bright Orange one) in my GTST and so far no complaints. best thing is I don't even have to think about touching it unless if fails. But I was given a 5 Year warranty and if it dies of natural causes they give you another one. It was $290 fitted.

I hope you guys organise this as I would love to do a nice long cruise with 30 other skyline NUTS:)

How much do your cars make now? How much was the cost of a remapped ROM?$

I went to CRD the other day and I was told that Project R34 just got a new manifold and the thing is making 280KW at the rears. the thing took a while to make though.$$

Eastern Creek Drive Day Thursday 24th July, 2003
Mr R32 M-Spec replied to Majanal's topic in Events Archive
You must be talking about creek meets, I had that problem last time I went, the announcer was a bit of a tool and wasn't talking loud enough unless it was a huge V8 running and then he said it loud enough so everybody heard. What was worse was I really wanted to hear this GTR's time but a Bloody rotory from Maz sport decided to 'warm' up his tryres right when he was announcing it. -
Nice! thanx guys, I just wanted to know how much it will run. I have a new turbo sitting at home (Garret 500HP application) but don't want to spend the money getting it on till the other one bites the dust. I am fitting a D/S boost controller with the new cooler I get the new cat today and the new cooler will be before the next track day. I have a standard airbox but a K&N Panel filter. it runs good at the moment, but as usual you feel the need for more power.
