  1. Ambrose is a full time driver in the Busch series this year, truck series last year. He is hoping to qualify for 2 Nextel Cup race this year as well. Ambrose's entry into NASCAR combined with the fact I just got Foxtel has got me right into it. 8th is an awesome effort considering he was 5th when he got spun round on lap 64 and pushed back to 24th... he passed 7 cars on the final 2 laps. After 3 races this season Ambrose is currently equal 5th outright in the series and top rookie (above Montoya) although its a long season, 35 races! As someone who thinks WRC is the supreme of all motorsports I used to think the circle racing was just stupid, and it kinda is. You gotta think of it as a drag race... but instead of being a quarter mile, its 400 miles.

  3. Hey guys, I need some help with the air con in my R33, I saw some other threads about air con but not this specific problem. When I turn my air con on, the compressor turn on, idle goes up 800rpm, then a few seconds later the compressor switches itself off and idle drops to normal again. This happens driving as well, but obviously not as noticeable, except for the air not being cold. Thing is sometimes the air con works fine, esp. on the open road, and sometimes it won't stay on for a whole trip. When the compressor is on, the air is cold. It is really frustrating, on hot days I find myself playing with the controls all the time as I'm driving trying to trick the compressor into turning on. Is it a sensor, if so which one and how can I fix it? Is it a lack of gas? Thanks
  4. My clock could've have been wound back but the condition of the car would say otherwise. Bought it with just over 50K on the clock, which is unlikely for a car of its age, but as Cubes said above... feels and drives like a brand new car. The interior, boot, under bonnet is immaculate and there are no 'real' modifications. It has been in an accident in it's life but not a major one. A lot of the cars I checked out had around 70-100K on the clock, but the interior & under bonnet looked more than 150K-200K. Basically you'd see the body was good, but the GTS25t sticker is gone (ie respray), the interior is shagged, and under the bonnet is covered in grime. As my Dad would say, you can't make strawberry jam out of pig shit. Funny Cubes... many years ago I checked out this VL in a yard, rang them and they said 200K, got there and it had 350K on it! Then they said the same story, even with the tag team mate that comes over and says, "yeah VL's had dodgy speedo and go round twice as fast"
  5. Item: I'm looking for the RH-side plastic mesh insert that goes into a standard Series 1 R33 Type-M front bar. Extra Info: I hit a fox coming home on Christmas Day, didn't realise until I got home that the mesh had popped/broken off. Contact Details: PM me. I don't need the whole front bar, there are some chips in the paint which is easily fixed but I'm finding it hard to find this piece of plastic.
