As topic says, i have a rb26 head here and i'm coming close to putting it on my fully built 30 bottom end, was wondering if i could find or get a exploded view of all the parts or in depth photo's of the head. So i can be sure i have all parts when handing over to be built. No turbo view or diagrams needed just intake and head internals.. Much thanks Craig

Ask topic, just chasing this part if u can help me pls much appreciated, Craig. Where my finger is pointing it has snapped. i think its the middle throttle but not sure if there the same as others.

I went the Tomei h/v pump for my build, cost a bit but works good with my 7ltr sump.

Bit of a update, went home yesty and cooled her rite off and noticed this... 1 of the EMG studs have been snapped off. 2 of the turbo bolts were holding it on, 1 was gone and the other was at half thread. So yeh got another bolt and re-tightened the turbo, And manifold... ARRGGGHHH god damn bolt snappers. No noise and back boosting big guns

I've just spent $20g just on my engine and it still wont be a 10sec car, so my hr31 "worth around 8-10k" plus 20g engine = nearly 30grand. Once u get to the 11sec mark, 1sec quicker costs big bucks. Dude when u say i want 10sec car Vin Diesel pops in my head "and all the wank what goes along with it" U'll be happy with a 25det conversion, pon cams, injectors, zorst, boost and a good tune. My 2c

GTST, mate u speak my lingo ! Sweet just got off the phone from nissan $90 for the EMG lil pricy Probly do all gaskets when i'm there, will take heat shield off tonight, turn a few bolts and listen for any differance in the noise. Cuz it would change, by decreasing the gap btween manifold-block. Resulting in a diagnose, being EMG or not... = next gasket and so on...

Not under boost but when she starts spooling the scream comes "A-a-rgghhhh!!!" Sounds like a jet engine.

Yeh i do notice the exhaust manifold gasket is slightly leaking, so i'm guessing that under load this is the reason for the "SCREAMING" hehe Appreciate the feedback boys ! Am i better off getting a gen exhaust manifold gasket from nissan? Also while i'm taking this apart will i need 2 purchase other gaskets? sorry never taken off a turb b4, but game 2 do it.

Hey as the topic says, my turb has seen better days i think...???? Well say 10psi boost and it makes a kind of screaming noise, now it has changed 2 like a loud suction, its like i have removed the fire wall and have my ear near the pod. The sound of spooling up has got really loud... I think it is stuffed but still creates power fine?????? Any suggestions or has this happened 2 any1 else...? STD 25 turb In between engine build atm rb30/26

Couldnt agree more, take some photo's of complicated gear so at least you can refer 2 them if u get stuck and wonder where this goes etc... The self satisfaction is awesome and gives you more confidence on the next job

I have seen oiling issues, i currently building this engine rb30/26 wif 7ltr sump and tomei pump full length collar etc, have any1 used a tomei h/v b4 on this setup?

I had the same deal on my 31... It seems like its coming from water pump???? i put some seal up in it just till engine is done. It worked well. But i only did that cuz i'm building a engine and dont want 2 waste time on a sh!tty rb20, it would be the water pump gasket, or actual pump itself. So if your keeping the engine, inspect and replace, when your there have a look at the shape its in "corroded or scummy" run a good system flush and have the radiator done aswell, cuz there is no point flushing your system and leave the rad alone. mY 2C
