  1. yeah its only because theres not enough evidence they've gatherd of these supposed hoons on the streets they need a track day to convince people this is what our roads are turning into, while they're at it why dont they put up footage of bathurst, they go heaps faster and have by far more worse off crashes :laughing-smiley-014:
  2. hey joeyjoejoe im still runnin standard injectors and when i took out one of my plugs about a week ago it was still clean, no signs of fouling up, might look into cas or coolant temp sensor
  3. mmm little problem with getting codes, the only wiring that comes off my ecu to my bcm, where a diag plug would be located is for basic sensors so getting a fault code out of it will be a little difficult
  4. sweet as mate, haha maybe i should just disconnect the temp sensor altogether and see what she does when i drive it haha
  5. yeah if you've already blocked off the plumb back pipe because you've fitted an after market bov then you wont need an attachment for that hose on the intake pipe however if in the future you need to refit the factory bov then you'll need that pipe back so the bov can plumb the air back
  6. ah true, hopefully i dont have to have the car under load to get an incorrect reading cheers mate
  7. starts fine, free revs fine, but you drive it for 20secs then the prob begins, sputter sputter engine loses power sounds like it cuts out but rpm remains stable then this only lasts for 2 maybe 3mins then once it goes away the car is about half way to operating temp, almost points to a temp sig issue
  8. yeah i saw sorta the same story the other night but it was about how people are setting up illegal drag and burnout meets on the outer parts of perth, nice one from the blue rb powered s13 but the reason for the news bit was coz someone who remains annonymous handed over his info on the whole scene, must have had a bad day with his car buddies an decided to help end hoons, dunno how many mates he's got left now
  9. mmm water temp would only adjust fuel up for cold engine running, but its getting enough fuel when the engine does its cut out crap it smells of unburnt fuel but hey im wrong till ive tried i spose
  10. yeah i was driving while i was halfway through my 2nd can of this an yeah i felt like i was floating big time then i went to bed at 120 an didnt get to sleep till way after 4, couldnt stop thinking hahaha
  11. anyone at all ever experienced what im getting?? its really pissin me off now
  12. mmm sorta sounds like the same prob im having but mine will do it from down low till high rpm and only before the car warms up im smelling raw fuel at some points so im getting some sort of ignition cut or fuel up, im sorta hovering around crank angle sensor
  13. k well i already got splitfires so that rules out coilpacks and coolant temp sensor and afm would control fuel up, when it cuts ignition, rpm doesnt drop it just cuts out all engine noise, so its not the same as flicking the key off but it sounds like the engine has been switched off, thats why its spinnin me out over what it could be
  14. k well ill try explain this problem best i can so engine is cold, i get in and drive it, i get maybe 50 meters from my house then under a light throttle, but still enough to increase rpm, my car starts to spit, cough and lose power, then if you hold the throttle where it is it feels like it drops out all ignition and you can smell raw fuel but if you put your foot to the floor it sputters some more and really sounds like its struggling then comes back to life and takes off once the rpm is high enough. now i thought it was my bee r limiter, as it interferes with the signal for ignition from the crank angle sensor, but i took it out and still no difference, the problem goes away once i get to running temp, ive checked my spark plugs, they're still like new and ive check wiring and plugs but nothing to fault there, if anyones had this similar prob and has found the answer that'd be great now i dont want people telling me to check my wastegate, bov or piping as i know without a doubt thats not the problem, its gota be a sensor, just dont wana go replacing things and not getting anywhere cheers
  15. mmm 1ltr bottle of beam $50 hoyts gift card Omg a model cefiro aaaaah 4 seasons of south park yesss A pair of peter alexander boxers $50 from my nan Yet to find out what i got my folks Merry christmas everyone!!

  18. k guys im givin this lad a hand on fri, ill do it the safe way, nooothin to worry bout
  19. haha good ol peak, best after hrs servo round
  20. could be a crank angle sensor dude, it tells the ecu when to make the coils fire, if your getting a rich fuel smell then that would either be ignition cut or something else causing it to over fuel or maybe a vacuum line or ic piping has popped off somewhere dunno that id worry bout ecu just yet, sound more like a faulty sensor
  21. haha its coz some were built on a mon and the others on a wed, you gonna contact me bout settin up your controller reaper?
  22. yeah im still stickin with the tags were out coz they didnt want people using the fuel till the prices were up, i highly doubt they would have all been out of 98 an the caltex's, which use the same fuel, are full, morely just sounds like the luck of the draw with that. As for my near tow, strich, i ventured for fuel when my car got to a good 8th of a tank left, i arrived at the caltex with the fuel light on
  23. k from what i gather, they've put the out of order tags on just the 98 so people cant make that last second cheap dash for good fuel, while the tags were out i saw prices as low as 96.7, it was like that at scarborough, innaloo, the leach h/way one and the one off roe h/way on willery rd- this one i was leaving as an s15 was comin in, bet he wasnt happy either. Its almost like how they had the special on the news bout some servo's putting out of order tags on the cheaper fuel pumps so people would buy the more pricey fuel, cheap pricks i say, price per barrell comes down then so should the price per litre, no questions asked!!!
  24. pm sent buddy
