  1. Firstly, sorry to hear the bad news, especially since it wasn't your fault. From what I know, you just have to weigh up the value that they put on it and whether it is economically viable for you to 'buy' the wreck off the insurance, and start stripping it for parts to sell.
  2. Great cruise, nice to meet you all. And excellent job with the organising Sean.
  3. See you guys at Homebush... I'll be next to Johnnilicte's purple fridge with my silver dishwasher.
  4. Not too sure if you'll get it done tomorrow.... need to get drunk before Ferry!
  5. Welcome mate!
  6. After all taxes and shipping cost, around AU$2m. So more first and second born.
  7. Guess there's no problem racing Toreto for pinks...
  8. McLaren is definitely doing something different with this by including KERS.
  9. My gf and I were recently involved in an accident (not my liner thank god) and the driver at the time did not have her license on her. To make matters worse, she was an overseas student and was holding an international license! I was literally waiting in the car for 2 hours while her friend went to find her license. In the meantime, I called the LAC and they said that technically you cannot leave without producing a license, as that can be considered leaving the scene of an accident that attracts a fine and demerit points. Unfortunately in my instance, that ruling goes both ways, so I was stuck playing the waiting game until the friend came back with the at fault driver's license. In the meantime, I was taking more photos than a paparazzi and took even more photos of the license as it was in both Chinese and English. When it comes to insurance claims, you can never be too safe as insurance will try and find any excuse to low-ball you in not paying up.
  10. Another place that you can try is Tempe Tyres. They always have 'fresh' tyres in stock, so it hasn't been sitting on the racks for too long and I've heard they are pretty price competitive as well.
  11. 235 might be 'stretching it' on a 9.5". It'll be better to run 255 with just a slight stretch, plus the price difference between a 235 and a 255 is not that big. Think of it this way, the width of a proper sized tyre will never have full contact on the road. Now imagine running an even narrower width tyre with hardly any contact on the road... you might as well run 4 push bike wheels.
  12. Hope it all goes well for you Ricky. From my experience and what I've seen, fault is almost certain to be laid on the person that rear-end the other, as they will use the reasoning of "you should always keep a safe car distance away from the car in front of you". And not to mention that they can milk the dosh out of you... Let us know how it goes man. Good luck!
  13. Two falafels?
  14. +1 to meet at Homebush. Most likely will cruise there with Johnny.
  15. Still not keen to separate the front seats only? I'm still interested.
  16. Silver R34 GT no wing, just before ED tunnel entry northbound. Honked and got a wave back.
  17. Nice ride Mitz, it looks real stealth! Welcome and hope you enjoy your stay.
  18. I find that for me, there is a huge difference between 18 and 19 degrees. 18 degrees = cold and nice 19 degrees = volcano
  19. Just put my name down for gtrsean's cruise on Sunday as well!
  20. Definitely keen.
  21. Sorry to butt in but I thought I'll join as oppose to start a new thread. Has anyone used these guys before to do touch-up paint jobs? - http://www.propaintauto.com.au Looks like good results but not too sure if it'll be cost or even time effective.
  22. Lol Johnnilicte always having Stanwell Tops withdrawals!
  23. Regularly see a nice silver DBS when I leave work at the Hilton lobby in the city.
  24. This thread might also give you a bit of heads up before you start working. At least this way you know what to expect in terms of procedures. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/129061-installing-3-dumpfront-and-high-flow-cat/ Good luck with it man and hope you don't snap bolts!
