It would be great to see some newer pics of your car it really looks the goods from what i've seen. Im working a poo job at the moment ....just came off night shift now... I wanted to come on a recent cruise but the skyline would take a few hours to get out on the road and I didn't have enough notice to make it happen. I would also like to make some mods to it before it's seen in public again... don't just want to screw a trade plate on and take it for a thrash.... I fixed the problem with the computer a few months ago and took it for a fang and managed to actually scare the boy!!!! responsible driving of course!! I use and recommend J-Spec Imports for someone willing to import themselves. Most cars can be inspected by a network of mechanics in Japan and will provide photos from every angle with attention to detail. This is the way to go if you want to save money, but it's not for everybody. Good luck, hope you find the right car.

Is it auto or manual? Sounds like the idle air control valve, there is a screw adjustment for air bypass on the throttle body that can alter your idle to help with stalling.

Take a small friend up to the car wash with a torch, cram them in the boot and spray away. Don't be afraid to pull the trims out to see what's going on. Also look at the wiring running to the bootlid, the wiring grommet can fail and allow water to run freely into the right side of the boot area. Water leaks can suck to find. Good luck.

Yeah, spark plugs are a good idea! i just use NGK BKR5E, and gap them down to .8 so the increased boost won't get the coil paks knickers in a knot! they are cheap as and the fancy ones are for people who have bulk cash. Give it a service and a severe thrash, if that don't work get the screwdriver out ...Tweak and thrash... repeat if neccessary... if symtoms persist consult someone who cares!!!! Just kidding............ that's the bourbon talking!!!!!!!!!!

How much do they charge these days? I was made redundant by them years ago and then they dissapeared down here in Vic. It used to be about $1250 in NSW and around $800 in Vic plus monitoring after the first year.

I had issues with mine years ago, just tweaked the Idle air screw to increase idle RPM and had no problems after. That said, more problems occured with an aftermarket BOV and Auto tranny. IAC (idle air control) motor may need to be cleaned out, but tweaking the idle air screw will help with that too. Just get the screwdriver out and go nuts!!!!!

Used to work for Quiktrak, system is good, however overpriced and monitoring is good. Limited range due to it being radio tracking as opposed to GPS tracking. QT will work inside buildings unlike GPS but leave sydney and where there are no towers there is no position or comms. I work for Minor Planet now and they don't offer a security solution as such. Just install a tazer in the drivers seat hooked up to the siren, make no mistakes though, or roasted nuts will be on the menu!

Hi Kyles, long time no see, except for the other day i saw you on Greens road! You wouldn't have recognised me in my Navara, 20" chromies, Autobot sticker on the tailgate... I know how clean your car is having worked on it and would recommend it to any potential buyer. I would say it's worth around $14,000. You could always just park it up in the back yard because you can't bring yourself to sell it! Works for me! Anyway good luck whatever you do.

No joking matter I agree, but some funny shit from the usual funny crunts! In your place I would go for a big ass sensor flood light they are cheap and you can just hook it up with an extension lead. With a kit like that in a burb like that i would also pull a car cover over it at about 10 pm every night just to remove the visual and make a show of awareness. Also a paging alarm with a microwave detector will give you all the peace of mind you need... as long as it's a Directed electronics brand like Viper of Clifford and fitted by a human with skill not a monkey with a screwdriver.

Nice ride Renee, But damn, get some fat ass rims in there before someone sees you! It will look crazy with lowering, negative camber and DISH! On a different note, I thought I would give my 4dr some love last week by jump starting it and listening to a couple of songs loud ......... anyway I have toasted another 15" sub thanks to a foul mouthed afro american chick who knows how to record very abusive songs both lyrically and literally when it comes to sub bass frequency. The moral to the story is don't let your pride and joy rot in your back yard and expect it to play nice when you dust it off! the list of things to fix gets longer and effing longer. I have a tomtom and it shits me that you can't enter the street name first and then choose suburbs from a list, i get dodgy adresses all the time and if you don't know the area you're stuffed! Also had fun in Sydney It tells you to keep right keep right.... then you are off the motorway or doing harbour bridge / tunnel laps and paying tolls like crazy! Mind you there are some pretty cool voice files
